These expensive light bulbs are a cool toy for both adults and kids. The colors are vibrant and the possibilities are limitless. I would replace all my light bulbs in the home if they were cheaper.

The product works great as advertised, setup is fairly simple for the average consumer I feel. Definitely a nice thing to have but definitely a pricey luxury. The benefit however is that the LED bulbs will last you a long long time which is nice!

Installed, up and running in less than five minutes. Been using it for about two hassle-free months now. Already expanded the system beyond the box to four additional components and plan to add several more. The ability and benefit to tune the ambient lighting colour is something that has to be experienced to really convey the beneficial effect. Being able to change the illumination colour based on reflected light from walls and other objects is really powerful in setting the tone of the area, be it for sitting down to chat, reading a book/tablet or watching TV. The Android mobile app is clean and functional. I also integrated it into our Z-Wave/HomeSeer system so can setup some really advanced scenes beyond the capability of either application solo. Definitely an expensive toy, and certainly not a must have LED option. If the bulbs really do last fifty years then it was a solid investment! Looking forward to creating some colourful scenes this Halloween!

I really like being able to go from white light to natural yellowish light depending on weather and mood. Kids love all the apps that let you play with lights.

This product is saving me hundreds of dollars!!!! I can control lights from iPhone and iPad easily. Installation was uber simple. Bought extra bulbs already.

So easy to setup and use. I really enjoy them very much. I even downloaded another app that I can set timers for the lights to come on automatically or shut off.

First time using the product; it was easy to use right out of the box. Super easy to connect the bridge to my home wireless network. It was fun turning on the light for my friend when she was at my house, but I was 200 miles away. It doesn't represent green very well. I will be much happier when the price goes down.

We bought this for fun, just to see what the fuss was about. It was quick and easy to get up and running, and there are plenty of apps available to customize the experience.

Easy to install and so much fun. Between Hue and Lux, get the Hue Starter kit, its worth the extra bucks. I have Amazon Echo to control all of my lights.

The bulbs are pricey but it's an investment in the long run and if into you're into bringing people, you love the different apps for your entertainment.

he put the bulbs into the ceiling fans on the lanai. Adjusting the color to the mood is awesome. He is also controlling them with the Nest system

I have purchased multiple wifi color changing lights but every single one took a long time to connect to my phone (Galaxy Note 4) or the app they came with. These Hue bulbs connected INSTANTLY to my phone and every Android app I have tried has worked well! Also--many of the different apps Android users have to choose from include widgets as well, giving users the option to just tap an icon on their home screen to change colors or scenes.

It is great to be able to tune the lights to our moods. It is also fun to be able to have different colors in coridors, niches, etc... It is easy to give a nice seasonal ambiance. Waking up with the light is also a nice touch. It feels more natural. I have absolutely no regrets with this purchase!

Love these Lights. They can change colors and be controlled from your phone/tablet or the tap switch.

These lights are slightly pricey, but for the connectivity, it makes sense. I am able to control my lights from my phone. I also own an Amazon Echo, which allows me to connect to the lights through wifi. When they are connected I can control my lights by voice command. The range of colors are extremely vibrant. You can set up schemes with the provided Hue phone app. There are also many other third party applications you can download to time to music and even pick up colors from your television and project through the lights.

Hopefully these will come down in price soon. I put these in my media room and with the apps available now there great. The lights change with the tv.

Have to pay for the app for the lights but overall pretty cool. Purchased for my boyfriend who's a pilot and isn't home very often. Can turn your lights on anytime. Makes you feel much safer.

After having problems with other lighting systems I am very impressed with the quality of this system. The only negative is the high cost.
