It's weird getting used to turning off and on the lights with my phone, and weirder with my voice using Google Home, but it's great! I love that the response on manual or voice commands is pretty direct and fast. Easy to set up and customize. Changing the colors and the preset moods really help enhance the feel of a room.

Very expensive, but really cool. I just bought 10 more br30 bulbs for my can lights. Really neat and great ambiance.

I bought the colored bulb starter set because we wanted to have the lights in our bedroom flash when the Nest Protect smoke detectors alarm. That function works extremely well! There was one bulb left over that we put in a lamp in the kids' room. Now they have fun every night picking the color of the light that they want to fall asleep with. We have that set on a "bedtime" timer so that it dims out over 30 minutes. Yes, Hue is pretty much a "toy" but they're useful and fun!

Love that Google can turn on, turn off and dim lights on demand. Never enter a dark house again...just Ask Google!

So in my house I struggle with having enough lights to meet my families needs and unfortunately adding lamps creates a problem with having to turning on/off several lamps in a room. By pairing this with a few amazon devices I get voice controlled lights in several rooms which is a plus. The fact that the lights can change colors is just a big bonus. Only problem is training the kids to specifying the room to turn on and off instead of just "lights" which applies to all lights.

These things are awesome. I have become a bit hooked on them, and will now convert my entire house to color bulbs. It is worth every penny, though it is an awful lot of pennies. If you don't want to do that, do one, or even one in a room. The only downside is getting rid of all the switches and dimmers in the house so that this thing can really work. The light switches all have to stay on, so when you walk out and shut the lights off, your app will no longer be able to access the bulbs. They sell switches/dimmers, but in order to not have two switches on the wall, you have to have an electrician take off the old switch, turn the lights on permanently, and then put a metal plate over the switch. Once you do this, you can stick the Hue dimmer switch (has magnets on the back) on the wall, and you will have yourself an awesome room/house. The bulbs are pricey, and the switches are about $60 each. Unfortunately I have about 15 dimmers, if not 20, in my house. The flood lights are about $60 each, and I have about 20 of those too. This is not a one day project, but it is one I will complete!!

Great purchases works great with my Amazon Echo. Easy to setup the default color schemes or to create your own.

I bought this to control my lights by voice with Google Home and Alexa. Was trying each one and they worked without any issues. Ans the cool thing is, being color lights, I could even say black light or even periwinkle and chartreuse! And it got the colors correct! My only downside is that I haven't found a way to set it to it's normal default warm white without using the app. Otherwise a great product. (Even able to turn lights on and off while away, over internet)

I love coming home to my lights being on. It’s great. And controlling them from the Google Home is super easy

I have 5 bulbs in total and would get more if the $50 price tag wasn't so steep. Still though, def worth it.

I had looked at the Phillips Hue Lights since they first hit the market. They looked nice but seemed kind is unnecessary. Finally got the starter kit on sale, and now regret not buying them sooner. Set up very easy, and lots of fun to make combinations of different lighting. Very much worth the purchase!

We use these in the home theater and living room to have different scenes for different uses. Normal lighting, all lights, movie lights. Color are a nice touch that allow scenes to mellow the mood.

This was so easy to set up and use! You just screw in the bulbs, plug the bridge into your network, and let the bridge link to the lights! After that, the hardest part is choosing which color combinations you want! Have already added two bloom bulbs & a light strip! They were easy too! Will be adding more soon!

These lights are great. The color options are endless. I can't wait to put them throughout my whole house.

me and my kids love this product. Planning to add more of the bulbs. Only issue is the hub need to wired.
