You'll want this if you Own an Amazon Echo Device but not required . I Used this with My Amazon Echo Speaker . For those who Use Echo . It has a 2nd generation hub that works with Apple Home Kit . It is easy to use via the Amazon App and Hue Hub App along with Apple Home Kit . You Must Make a Group Called for Example " Bedroom " in order to work with Echo . Echo Recognizes " Bedroom " and will Turn the Lights on / off for example Say " Alexa turn on my " Bedroom Lights " or " Alexa Bedroom Lights 50 % " It worked great for me and I am working on making new groups to work with more lights . It can work with up to 50 Lights . Or can be used just setting up with the App alone . It Works with All Phillips Hue Generation 2 Compatible lights . Color and White . Included are 2 White Led Lights that have serial numbers and can be setup separately . This Version comes in Plain Box with full instructions and a Great Price . You can Push the Big button and say " Alexa Find my Devices " and it will find your " Hue Hub " And " Lights " Requires you to download the Hue App and Amazon App to your Device I used an iPad and an iPhone Although it can be confusing to setup Amazon Echo . If you don't setup Groups Properly . Trick is to use Groups and say " Alexa turn on " (Group name) " and Lights for example . Fun to use with Amazon Echo . Not sure how far total range is . But As long as you have In Line of sight of the bridge it seems to work best . Easy to Use once Setup .

It is not real white light, working good but i do not like yellow lights

I have tried these twice. Both times the bridge would not connect I called hue Best Buy and looked at every video on the installation and could not get them to work. I returned them I was very disappointed

I got this hub and lights as it is compatible with Google home. The lights wouldn't stay connected to wifi and no matter where I moved the hub it was a struggle. The hub also kept disconnecting. I ended up returning.

The lights are soft white not white as the kit says,also Alexa having problems connecting with it most the time.

I returned the product. I couldn't justify spending over $50 in bulbs regardless of how smart they are.

I use my Phillips Hue system everyday. It's awesome. I have it integrated with my Echo Dots (Alexa)... so I can tell it to turn off/on a particular room's light... or to dim it 50%...etc. I can program the light to slowly brighten up the room 30 minutes before it's time to wake up, and to automatically turn off or on at certain times of day. There is another set up where it can slowly dim the light 10 minutes (or what ever duration) before bedtime. I have a tendency to oversleep or hit the snooze button multiple times during the winter months because when I'm scheduled to wake up, it's still dark. Ever since I purchased this hue system and set it up to slowly brighten the room 30 minutes before wakeup time...I am wide awake when the alarm goes off. This system can also integrate with the Samsung SmartThings system.

Impossible to setup. Not worth $50. App sucks. Don't buy

I purchased this basic Hue kit to set up with my apple home kit. Very easy set up, Just plug the hub into your router, screw the bulbs in and the rest is done on the app. After playing with these i ended up adding an eco dot and a google home to my house and they work flawlessly with either one of the voice assistants as well! Worth the money and very easy to use! And additional bulbs are only $15 to add throughout your home!

Got the sensors for the kitchen and garage stairs. I just walk in then the lights come on. I chose in the app very easily to turn off in 2 minutes. I put one bulb on the front and back porch, with a timer that turns on at night, then off in the morning. Efficiency. Everyone would love this if they tried it, very simple to use.

Cheap and affordable for light bulbs, and no need to install a dimmer or anything, this works as one without the need of one!

I like it, easy to use from my phone let me set up time to go to sleep and turn off by it self

Added these lights to my room and they are so convenient and great.

I've been having times where routinely the bulbs become unreachable by the hub. I've gone over possible reasons (hub distance from router, etc.) online but so far no joy. I even added bulbs in the hallway because I thought it might be the distance from the hub since the bulbs communicate with each other. Funny thing is they show unreachable in the app but if I click in the lamp it blinks as it should. However, when I try to turn the light off it doesn't. Went though the software update page online (http://labs.meethue.com/support/softwareupdate) and it says the software is up to date for bulbs and hub. Would not recommend this.

Love it!! Works like a champ. It literally lights my whole house and I love being able to program.

Compared to non smart LED bulb, it is really expensive. If it came with lower price, it is perfect.
