This is everything you need to get going in the world of wireless lighting. The bulbs are a classic off white color and fit into standard lightbulb sockets. A variety of apps can be used to toggle lights on and off, adjust brightness, set schedules and more. The hub is relatively small and connects to your wireless router via ethernet cable and to power with an AC adapter. Set up is simple and everything works as intended.

really like how it only took 5 minutes to setup, super easy to use and works perfectly. can't wait to get more bulbs and fill the entire home with smart lighting. Especially useful at night when you want dimmed light.

Bought this light kit to use with my echo dot, works perfect when asking my echo to turn my lights on and off. Also, it's nice to be able to set them on a timer when I need to wake up for work. Highly recommend!

We bought this starter kit, along with a four-pack of the bulbs to get us started with some "smart" lights in the house. Our main desire was to have dimmable lights for when we were watching TV or just relaxing, but I didn't really want to fool with installing a dimmer switch. I got to looking at these as an alternative and the added bonus of being able to control these from our phones, including setting schedules and turning them on or off from anywhere (home or away), was enough to tip the scales. We've been happy with them so far, and as long as they last for a good chunk of time, I think we'll go this route for some of our outdoor lighting as well.

We purchased this set to have a better lighting solution in our living room. Rather than turning on three separate lights, my wife wanted to simply turn them all on at once. We didn’t need the colored LEDs so it made it more feasible too. The Hue Hub setup was simple and the app was intuitive. We also purchased an extra A19 bulb and have them all on ‘routines’ in the app and set for the living room. I purchased yet another A19 bulb and have that in the bedroom to turn on when my alarm goes off to help wake up in the morning. Great set, again, it’s a little expensive though. Can’t beat the convenience.

    Neat Addition to Smart Home

The Phillips Hue is a great addition to your home. I added this for use with a Google Home. I also have a Hue color bulb. I put one in the kitchen, one in the dining room and the color bulb in our game room. Easy to set up with smart phone and the Google Home. I recommend this to all. The only down side is the LED bulbs are not recommend in a closed lighting fixture. I had to change the fixture to use the bulb. Another downside is the 2 day shipping is not true. The package was shipped from Kentucky and took 7 days to get to East Tennessee. It was blamed on UPS from Best Buy and UPS blamed Best Buy. Other than that good product...

I use these with an echo and set routines on the hue app. Sometimes, there are a few hiccups but it’s easy to resolve. Easy set up. I just wish I could do different shades of white without paying for a color bulb like with their recess lights.

It’s a very simple setup. Plus I got this for a really good deal. Just wish it didn’t need the bridge to work nor the light bulbs to be super expensive

This was my first smart home purchase. I wanted to be able to voice command the lighting in our bedroom. Works fantastically! Ties into my echo and harmony hub too. I've since added a few other smart home devices but I plan on adding bulbs for the most of the house. Dimming feature works great with voice command if you pair it with a device like an echo. "Bedroom lights 30 percent!"

Nice set. The instructions to setup the Hue system were pretty easy. I used this to tie into the Amazon Echo. Worked like a charm. If you have any non-dimming lights you would like as dimmable, this setup is great for that as well.

There are brighter WiFI bulbs (Eufy and TP-Links) that are also cheaper and don't require a bridge. But these are very reliable and don't dim over time. Bulbs can get expensive but each hub can handle 50.

Worked like it's supposed to, gave it a 4 star because it works and hasn't given me any problems. Don't think it goes above and beyond in any way but it was simple enough to set up and simple enough to use so good job Phillips
