A simple way to make little things easier. Have certain lights set to come on before I get up since its always dark when I do and then set to turn off as I go to work. Additionally, when paired with a Ring doorbell, I have it set to flash certain lights when someone rings the doorbell or lights to go on when motion is detected. Also makes it easy for the wife to turn on the light over the sink if she is busy in the sink by just using our google home. Not the cheapest smart light bulbs, but can't complain about the ease of setting them up and using.

These lights work great. Very bright on default setting. Works great with Amazon Alexa and iPhone home app. Easy set up. Highly recommended.

I was using Wemo switches for my lamps, but there were some down sides (Wemo is in and out; if you lose power, they don't come back on automatically). My kids are Hue users, so I bought into the system. I love it! It is easy to set up, easy to use, easy to link with Google Home....and the bulbs return to on if power is interrupted. I have several timers set (e.g., for bulbs to dim to nightlights overnight) and have linked all my bulbs to Smart Things. Highly recommend. I am going to covert all my smart lights to Hue.

These light bulbs are just one part of the whole Hue Auto Light system. See another review of the Bridge and light setup. But, if you already have the Bridge, these lights are a perfect companion. They dim on command and the whole system works consistently and effortlessly. I was able to rid my house of lots of timers, electric receivers, manual setup stations, etc. The prices are quite high for all of the Hue light components, but they solved a lot of problems in my household and the cost was worth it.

These bulbs integrate with the hue bridge and provide easy lighting and voice activated action with Alexa. I have them set up so they go off at certain times as well as on at certain times they are also controllable from outside your home which is great if you forget to leave a light on for your pets. There also great when you’re away for extended periods of time where you can set your lights to go off and on when you need them to. Making it look like somebody is at home. They also dim to whatever setting your request.

Simple to use, connects with home and apps fast. I haven't found a smart light I like better. New house is about halfway hue smart lights at this point, and it's only a matter of time before my lighting project is complete.

These are used along with the starter kit. Pricey but work well with alexa and the hub.

Sick of your ingrate family wasting all your hard earned money by leaving lights on? This is the product for you! This 4-pack does not include the Hue hub. You'll have to get that separately. I would recommend purchasing that with another four pack in a bundle package. These are the basic hue Wi-Fi light bulbs. They're not color bulbs but they can do different Hues of white. You can also change the light intensity. you can do this by using the Hue app on your Android phone or that other phone made for the less technical people, or you can run it off your Google home or Alexa device, if you have those. I set mine up in the kids hallway, the kids bathroom, and their ceiling fan lamps. If you are putting two bulbs in one device you will need to set up each bulb and then add them to a group such as kids fan one, kids fan 2 and then the group name would be kids fan. If you are trying to control it via Alexa you may have to come up with a different group name that is not similar to the boat names because she seems to be too stupid to figure out what exactly you want to turn on and off and complains to you about it. She even goes so far to tell you to name it something else. When I get up in the middle of the night and I'm too lazy to walk to the other side of the house to make sure the kids is turn the lights off I can just turn it off from my phone or yell so my Alexa and my neighbors can hear me and have Alexa turn off the lights. I've slowly been adding more and more Hue bulbs to my light Network. I also have some colored ones which are pretty good. Sometimes I like to mess with the bulbs when I know the kids are home alone or if they're trying to sleep or if I know one in the bathroom in middle of the night. You can override any programming just by resetting the light switch. That would be turning it off and turning it back on a couple times.

We replaced several bulbs in our house and have set up the system with Alexa. It is extremely handy to be able to control the lights from a remote area of the house,especially when my son (who has autism) gets scared of the dark, I can turn the light in his room on before I get to him... I can also set a timer to let him know when it's almost time to go to bed, etc. His lights flash!! We have one or two other bulbs to eventually change out.

I have to say that it is great to be able to use voice command and to be able to use an app to control and program my lights. Pranking my wife never gets dull either! I need to buy some more...

I’m so glad hue finally came out with multiple bulbs in one pack for one price! I hope they soon do the same with the color bulbs. Some of them are a little pricy! But i still buy them! Lol

I love the fact that I can use my Alexa to control the lights. Telling it when to shut it off/on or dim. I like the fact you can set them to turn on or off on a timer. Love this product!!!!!

Easy to setup. My lights worked right from the start. Being able to have Siri turn my lights off and on is a great pleasure. I can’t stop telling and showing my friends how they work

Great way to control lights in different rooms even when in another place!

I use the standard white bulbs for outside use and all 4 work perfectly in sink. I use the colored hue bulbs indoor to spice things up. They are addicting. Clear your schedule.

I’m very happy with my Hue lights. The control is excellent. These white lights put out very nice bright light when needed. Dimming works well. The app is easy to use, although I mainly control these via Stringify flows through my SmartThings hub. I currently own 13 Hue lights, 9 of them are these white A19 models. I will probably buy a color one at some point, as well. since I’ve been so happy with these.

Great edition to an existing system. I added these in my bedroom as an addition to the bulbs in my home office and family room. Now I can turn the lights off and on when I doze off or I am ready to wake up without getting up or coming from under the covers. I use my Amazon Echo and the App to turn the light on / off while in bed and when I am away from home. Great for safety and convenience.

We really like the control we have over each light at the socket. Even if there is 2 or 3 light bulbs at each light you can control each one individually. Being able to dim each light is cool for hallways and the staircase light at night. Now that our back door porch light and light over the garage are part of routine we no longer have to worry about shutting them off at night. Great Product!
