I was crossing my fingers as this had to work with a new Alexa. No hub needed. I dim the lights early in the morning and they work well.

I have tried a couple of different smart bulbs and hue is the easiest to setup. I originally didn't want hue bulbs because of the need for a bridge but I now understand that bulbs with bridges, at least the hue bridge bulb set, is just plain more reliable. We now have at least ten hue bulbs in our house and plan to add more.

It works as advertised, the only unknown is how long the bulb will last. I have my set up co trolled by my Amazon Echo along with fans.

They are really easy to set up with your phillips bridge. When we go out of town I put one in my front porch light so I can set a timer for it thus giving the appearance we are still at home. With the increased functionality over time with google I can turn them on and off with voice commands or google home app on my phone.

Great LED lightbulbs for lazy people basically. You can turn on and off your light wirelessly and program them to turn on routinely.

These are the best white smartbulbs you can buy. Even better if you already have the bridge. As they are also the least expensive to outfit your home. The only drawback is they are stuck at a single color I believe 2700K. However, the output at 800 lumens is good and they work very reliably. I can strongly recommend them.

I’m not a dyed in the wool tech fanatic but I took a chance and bought an Alexa device together with these bulbs. The set up is fairly easy using an iPhone. The results are outstanding. Being able to control lamps throughout a house using voice commands is so convenient. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

these lights are great and i would absolutely recommend them for most rooms. but my only complaint is that they do not get extremely bright. they have the other lights that i have as well that do have more of a bright white, they are just more expensive. Regardless, they work great!

I’m really glad Philips started to bundle these bulbs together. On sale or on a deal these are solid. I just needed this kit to add to a bedroom. Adding additional bulbs to my bridge is insanely easy and with iOS 12 and HomeKit, everything is a breeze. Hue is an investment, but it’s so nice in the long run.

We bought these lights to use with the motion sensor for a hallway light at night. It was easy to set up, works with our google homes, and is quick to respond to the motion detector. The only downside is the price, but until these lights become cheaper, it is definitely the most reliable option.

Pros: program lights to come on at certain time. Great for being out after dark and coming home to lit house. Cons: program only allows fade in and not instant on. Can be annoying when you are home and have lights on, then they dim on you when the program on time arrives. Pros: -- Like being able to create different on off times for different lights and I do not have to worry if I shut the porch lights off. -- Combined with Google Home or Alexis you can create a bedtime or morning scenario for lights to come on or turn off in any room you want. Example I say bedtime and all living room and back patio lights go out. Or in the morning before I get up I have lights in living room and bedroom turn on so I am not fumbling around in the dark. Cons - Pricey - Software needs better scenario options. For example, I have certain lights come on at 5:30 pm but instead of instant on, I have to endure a fade in. Really annoying. Waiting to see how long the bulbs last to see if the price point vs convenience is worth the purchase of additional lights or continued use.

Used these to replace bulbs in our family room. Makes it easier to dim the lights for watching a movie with family.

These led smart bulbs work great with the Philips Hue app, or my Google Assistant. I now have variations of these in every fixture in my home. They work nicely, and the dimming feature is great. Only con is theyre on the pricey side. Best to buy them when theyre on sale, as I always do.

My house is slowly filling up with these bulbs. They are super simply to activate and Alexa runs them with ease.

These lights work amazing with Alexa, as well as with the Philips app. Work great when I'm away from home also.

This was part of an overall smarthome package we put together. It makes controlling lights in our home a snap.

Works well with amazon echoes. I have 2 echo dots and an echo show and lots of these bulbs. I really like not turning out my bedroom light until I lay down in my bed. If I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom these lights are great night lights. Just tell Alexa to dim them to 10%

I am in love with these. My wife thought it was silly but loves being able to control lights wit our Echo

Birthday gift for my nephew. College student who uses his phone to turn on lights. He really likes these.
