Definitely brighter

But they do produce double the lumens of the standard Philips Hue A19 bulbs. However, one of mine arrived in a crushed box and dead on arrival. Always check bulbs, especially $20 ones, as soon as you receive them. Powerful, but they are quite warm as far as color temperature, so keep that in mind as they won't appear as bright as lower lumen bulbs with cooler temperatures.

Color temperature inaccurate

Although if you are looking for brighter and closer to white color temperature (4,000 Kelvin) look elsewhere. Their advertisement photos make it appear this bulb gives an output closer to white, but in reality the color temperature of the bulb is much closer to 2,200K (orange)

Great with a Phillips Hue hub.

If you plan to use it using a Zigbee hub with something like Zigbee2MQTT, ZHA or Deconz in Home Assistant your mileage may vary. Some may work and some may not. I only tried Zigbee2MQTT and it didn't like it. So if you have a Hue hub you will be good to go. If you are using some other hub/adapter verify before purchasing.
