I love these lights but if you can spend the extra cash for the colored bulbs. Do it. Well worth the money.

I bought these bulbs for my bathroom and paired them with the motion sensor. The different shades of white are nice because you can put it in a relaxing warm shade of white when in the bathtub. or a nice bright white for my wife when she is wanting to get ready.

I wish it didn’t need a bridge to got all the lights going but this works as advertised.. one echo one light

Lets face it. You're not buying these bulbs for the 'electricity' savings. You' buy them because they look awesome. My house is like a dance club (gotta use a 3rd party app for that). If you can afford them do it. Works great with google home. very customizable

I don't have a lot of experience with other smart bulbs so it is difficult to compare. Generally these work really well but there are times with they will "lose state" so to speak. i.e. sometimes they remember what settings they had when they were last on and when you turn them on again and sometimes they don't. There are also times when simply turning the physical switch on/off doesn't effect whether they turn on/off.

Great addition to my Hue system in a spot where I don't need to change the white tone or color all together.

They are worth the extra cost for reliability and support alone. We all know Philips isn't going anywhere, so the hue ecosystem should remain supported for years to come. These bulbs offer good light options for being a "white only" bulb.

I love this light bulb. I now there are Hue light bulbs that give you all the different colors, but this one is perfect for my needs in my office. I also do video work and these lights come on handy when I'm matching color to my soft box setup. Also a much more affordable price.

Love the fact I have set these up in a over home where wiring new wireless switches would have been more difficult. Works with Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant with Hue Bridge. Have used IFTTT app to make some rules. Next will be integrating some motion sensors.

I received a Hue color light kit as a gift and installed it in my living room. I loved it for the variation of color and lighting temperature. I wanted the same experience in my den. I control it by voice, the switch or the app on my phone.

The Hue white ambiance A19 fits in any socket that would take a standard light bulb. We have several of these and it's very nice to be able to control the temperature of the light from bright white to warm yellow/orange as well as the intensity of the light.

I bought these extra lights to go with the color LEDs lights that I already had. These are exactly like the color version except they can only display various shades of white. Recommend for any room that does not need smart lights that change colors.

We are using these bulbs in the bedroom nightstand lights and in the office lamp. Great bulbs, I really like being able to change the white hue from warm in the evening to a cooler light when I am working. I will be buying more of these lights for other rooms a well.

Range of color temperature is very broad. Synced with my pre-existing network quickly and easily.

Lights are perfect for any room and the adjustable brightness makes them flexible.

I have several Phillips Hue lights, both in ambiance and color ambiance. I love them because if I get comfortable in bed, but forgot to turn out the light, I can do it with my voice and drift off to sleep. The color ones are fun for movie time.

The bulbs are a bit pricey but still defenitly worth buying. Just keep in mind you will need a hub.

The Philips - Hue White Ambiance A19 Wi-Fi Smart LED bulb is a user-friendly light able to be controlled with many apps devices or switches. Though not quite as bright as an iLife bulb, it more than makes up for it with its flexibility. I purchased it to have dimmable lighting in a rental property without the problems of fixed wiring. Set it up with a hub and dimmer switch and you will never regret it.

If you are using Phillips Hue bulbs and want that daylight ambience then these are the way to go. Less expensive than colored lights by Phillips and the only way I have found to get a HUE bulb to provide that daylight kind of light.
