Bulbs are bright, and easy on the eyes. They fade very well, and the options of different white tones to choose from are really great.

We love the Hue lights and bought the plain white for the bedroom. It isn't quite bright enough sometimes for reading and stuff, but otherwise does everything we want it to do, including fading out at bedtime, and fading in for the morning.

if you want light control without the fancy colors this is your go to its really great paired with google home or Alexa

Set it up in the loft to come on when someone comes home. My network detects someone coming home and then triggers the light.
