Be mindful of the light fixture you will be installing these in and you will be fine. I think they work best when they are exposed directly in an open fixture. I purchased this for a ceiling light with a non-intuitive switch location, pairing it with the wireless dimmer. The ceiling light had a frosted dome, which makes the overall light output a bit dim - but perfect for a bedroom. It is typically dimmed to ~80% which feels plenty bright for reading at night, but feels a bit dark in the daytime and doesn't fully brighten the half of the room without natural light.

Great light. Love that I can use it in my house without having to install a separate dimmer switch. I already had the starter kit and adding this to it was a simple process.

I always find perfect spots for Hue Smart light bulbs in and around outside my house. Call out Alexa to turn on lights before entering the areas or rooms are very convenient and safer at night. Also convenient when forget to turn off lights after leaving the rooms.

We have 3 in our kitchen and 2 in our entry. Obvious benefit is the use with smart devices - Google Assistant, Alexa, cell phone, etc. Can set up timers using the Hue app. And these allow you to change the temperature of the white light, so you can have a bright white, blue tint, yellow tint, etc. (but not change to true colors such as red, green, etc with this particular model) We like having the brighter white in the areas where we have them installed and have them in nightlight mode via a timer overnight. Big fan of the Hue products.

Without getting into the color bulbs, these offer various shades of white with ease using the app and Alexa changes the shades perfectly.

I chose these bulbs over the regular Hue ones because I wanted to change the warmness of the light. I love that the app can make "scenes" from pictures you upload, and will adjust the different bulbs in the room to match the picture. Very clever.

Had Philips before buying my dot to give me the ability to dim my lights. A regular bulb gives really hard light and I spend most evenings at home where I dont have daylight. Great product, I moved from the cheapest set that had the Yellow bulbs and started to add on the White ambiance bulbs. I use white light to apply makeup on every day and also do work, so that my screen which is very bright doesnt hurt my eyes. Its a lot better with an alexa, the phone app was a little annoying but voice control has upped the value of the product for me.

These work as they should with multi option for hue, easy to use thru the app. I would prefer to have all brite white bulbs all of the time but they have not come out with them yet. Hopefully soon as I am not a fan of yellow lighting.

I originally purchased the regular white hue bulbs but picked up a set of these when they went on sale for the holiday season. I wish I had done it sooner. The regular white bulbs are fine for the family room, but I love being able to tune the temperature of the bulbs in the bedroom. Cool to wake up in the morning and warm to lull me to sleep at night. I liked them so much I've picked up additional sets for guest bedrooms and for family and friends. Bonus: they make a great conversation piece when you have company.

Trying out the wireless lighting was excellent. The light is bright. Responds to the commands from my phone seamlessly.

Lights and connects to the Hue system as it should. I like being able to adjust the tone/feel of the color of the light. Still think these bulbs are more expensive than they should be though. We'll see how long it lasts to make it worth it or not.

No issues pairing to phone app or adjusting. Allows you to go from soft white to daylight or in between. Love them!

Great addition to a smart house setup responsive and bright

Really bright and easy to connect. Can be set to different setting, like evening, reading, daylight.

Real easy to connect to the hue bridge. You can change colour and brightness of that bulb with your smartphone

This is my favorite hue bulb. I also have the color hue, but I like this one. Different whites and dimmable. Works with smartthings and controlled with it or the philips hue bridge or Amazon Alexa.

The Hue light system is fantastic and these ambient bulbs are perfect for mood setting without the cost of color.

This is the best smart bulb I have ever used. I have used many other brands and acting to use as well. Altogether till date this is one of the best. I think its worth the investment. If you already have the bridge its a no brainer and it works seamless. really happy with the product and thanks Best Buy for the speedy shipping. Amazed by the performance. Got 800 Lumen which is more than enough for my use and never had any issue till now.
