Poor fit

Ended up going with Halo lights that had the rabbit ear connectors held the lights in nice and tight and also had a rubber gasket our the light to keep light from shining out.

Beware - issues with 3 way switches

When I called Phillips to inquire about a warranty or solution, the first question I was asked was if the light was used on a circuit with a dimmer or 3-way switch. The light was on a circuit with a 3-way switch, which is extremely common. Phillips didn’t care if there was an issue with the manufacturing of the light, they simply wanted wanted to find a way not to have to warrant their product which apparently doesn’t work with most light circuits in homes.
