Does not fit older adapter

I initially bought the wrong one, but then just bought (another) correct base kit so I can use it. Check which one you need before buying (Bluetooth or non).

Incompatible light strip

To my dismay, this strip was incompatible with that strip. After some painful research, I discovered that this strip is “version 4” and my other strip, that I purchased from BB one week earlier as part of a Black Friday deal, was “version 3”. I didn’t appreciate their clever ruse. Undeterred, I pressed on and ultimately found a happy home for it in my closet, where I connected it to an existing version 4 light strip. Now It adds warm light on my feet.

New HUE strip may not fit your older version.

I have quite a few set up for Christmas decoration lighting. PROBLEM: This particular set has smaller pins than the others that I have (all are HUE lights) and I could not connect it to my other line. BEFORE you buy this set, look at the pins on the end of your existing HUE strip and if they are large ... check the strip you are buying (open the box and look at the pins)..to make sure you are not buying the smaller version. They won't work for you. Love the HUE light strips however.... very bright and a lot of APs out there that make your lights look great.

The overall look it adds to my entertainment area is very nice!

Great extension for hue light strip

Connection was a bit flimsy but once I got it in place, I haven't had any issues. Great extension as long as you have the correct version of the Hue strip. They're costly, but if you are familiar with the Hue lineup, you would already be aware of that.
