Hue has changed the connection ends. Does not work with older cable set we have. Wish they would have keep the same connection. The lights work great. Nice and bright.

I purchased these a couple of years ago and needed another extension for one of my installations. Overall these lights do perform well enough for most use cases in terms of brightness, color range and features through the Philips Hue mobile app. However things get drastically worse once you begin to look at how the pricing and features of the competition. These are nowhere near as bright as some of the other brands out there, like Govee or Lytmi for example, they don't have individually addressable lights, and these are very expensive in comparison while not offering much for the increased price. I bought another pair simply because I already am invested in the Philips Hue ecosystem of lights and because of the Homekit integration, but that's it. To keep this brief, I honestly can't recommend this product, or any Philips Hue product when there are so many better alternatives on the market at a fraction of the price. Look at the Philips Hue gradient light strip versus the Govee neon rope or even compare this product to Govee's RGBIC light strip if you want to see what I'm talking about when it comes to pricing and features.

Good color and works well with other Philip products however the adhesive doesn't really stick to my walls and I mount it on the ceiling.

Would have liked to be able to give half stars - would give 3 1/2 starts. Let me explain. First, the quality of the light strip. In a word - EXCELLENT! Well made, durable - very high quality construction. And the quality of the app and the controllability of the app? In a word - EXCELLENT! EXCEPTIONAL! You can seemingly vary the colors just about infinitely and dim them to almost any level - all from your smart phone. Sticky tape doesn't stick well to inverted surfaces (I had to glue these to the underside of a major bar renovation we just completed). Because of the quality and performance of these strip lights, this wasn't a significant issue to me. The build quality, app control and light color / dimming / output capabilities of these light strips really are off the charts! So why 3 1/2 starts? Because I needed to connect multiple strips together. The product description states this as a primary feature. And after contacting Phillips customer support, the boxes I purchased had the wrong connectors (apparently V4 when I had V3 lights) and Phillips didn't have any V3 connectors for me. This was determined only after 3 very long phone calls and after I finally got a level 2 technician to help me. Wasted a lot of my time because a product was sold with the wrong connector / hardware. While I was able to remedy the issue by buying extension strips after a lot of searching (to get the correct version) - it was a very time consuming process and required modifying the installation and it's power sources.

I Love Philips HUE! All its functions and color changes, really easy to use with the app!! Also easy to Install and plug with other strips. Would definitely recommend if ypu are looking for a nice lighting in any room.

Good old philips product that i am used to. Its good decent and high quality. I know its pricey but not problematic as others. Before hue i thought they all do the same job and job ge brand which was way cheaper and had a lot of connection and function issues

The brightness compare to the older version is noticeable but like the last version the 3m tape isn't that sticky

For my daughter room she been asking for them, they work great exelent quality easy to use and her room looks awesome she loves them.

Lights are easy to connect. Be careful while connecting. Pins are a little weak

I love these! Placed under the bed frame for a soft glow either for when we got up at night, setting a fun mood or soft color while watching tv. Got an extension to go around the full king frame we have. Color choices are great. Response is great. Brightness is great. Only negative is some of the double sided tape does not adhere well. I purchased extra tape to fix.

Very nice addition to my under cabinet lights. Look out for the connector at the end. Philips has used 2 different connectors so these may not fit your system. Although the connector was different, the light color is exactly the same. I didn't worry about the connector since these were hard wired into my existing system, aka no connectors. Lights were soldered into the existing system.

Used under cupboards. It looks beautiful and we can control it with our Alexa device, including color and brightness. Few issues: 1. The backing does not stick well, it fell down after a little over a week. We had to use double-back sticky tape. 2. Returns and warranty time to short. BestBuy now only allows within 14 days. We had purchased, put up a few days later and noticed blinking now and again. Then fell a week later. Taped up but blinking again - finally we found a bad prong and returned. Showed how prong was embedded lower in the strip, probably what was causing short. But since was purchased4/29 and was now 5/20, it was not covered - although we had paid the 4-yr warranty so that was activated. Have heard multiple times people saying I thought 30 days - nope 14 days folks. 3. Flexibility: It's not as flexible to be able to do corners around or as with us under covers where have to go down, over and back up between cupboards. Even with sticking tape it pulls away due to lack of flexibility. We are going to have to use a dot of glue for those spots.

Light work good. They are better than some off brands out there. Change color. Easy to install and use.

I needed an extension kit for a project that I was completing for my PC and while I hated the price, I was kinda stuck buying this kit. I love the lights, the price and the adhesive, I don't like. The price is too high (but I am more than happy to pay it) and the adhesive isn't great, so I do think that Philips can do better

While generally these products are super, however they have now released a Bluetooth first. If you have the Bluetooth version of the light strip, you must use a Bluetooth version extension. It is not contained anywhere on this website or on the hue website

We're huge fans of the Philips Hue Lightstrips. I needed a few more and for some reason the v4 version (bluetooth) were difficult to find in-stock anywhere but Best Buy. I was able to pick up 2 same-day to finish my basement project today. Make sure not to mix these up with the older v3 lightstrips as they are not compatible. These seem slightly brighter and thicker than the old ones and work just as good.

Bright and responsive, just like the base kit. Easy and intuitive to link together.
