This is practically plug and play, put in the bulbs open the app and you’re set to play with your lights!

I just purchased a Hue Play light and wanted to get the bridge so I can easily connect and control them. It’s unfortunate that you do HAVE to purchase this as well but we are moving almost our entire home to hue lights and with it controlling up to 50 it’s well worth it.

I really wanted a lighting controller that would work with Apple HomeKit. Setup with our Hue Lightstrip Plus was very easy and the controls were good. It took a little more to get it set up with our AppleTV and HomeKit. There were a couple of quirks. Some complained it has no wi-fi - only wired Ethernet. To me, this is an advantage. I have all my family internet connectivity together and this will fit right in. I would have planned to disable wi-fi anyway. I feel it is more secure.

So far it is working perfectly, the only complaint I have is the price. Other than that, no issues.

Ordered this for my husband, who has been having a ball with it, configuring lights to work with SIRI. Had previously gotten him the first gen one which worked fine with Hue app, but he has a HomePod so I gave him an upgrade. We both love it and it keeps him entertained. It's the little things. Very easy to set up and use.

The Hue Bridge is an easy way to connect your light devices and pair them with your smart assistant. Easy to set up and install. Make sure you have room near your internet hookup to power and link the device to the internet.

Awesome product . Really convenient. My old Hub died so I had to get a new one. The only aggravation was setting up all the lights again. Not sure how I’m going to get my flood lights on the new Hub. Still love the product.

Perfect tool to hook up my Hue lights and Sync Box. Works flawlessly with no delay. Though mine needed a firmware update right out of the box. I like its tiny size; perfectly blends in with my other devices. A must need for those with any Philips Lights!

I love that this allows me to connect all of my Hue Play Bars and that it doesn't stand out. With all of the smart tech we have in our home we don't want clutter or an eyesore so it's nice that we can place it on top of our entertainment stand and it just blends in!

My house is lit up by Phillips Hue. Reliable and helps you manage your house lighting. Prefer over individual WiFi lights because u have one link to your WiFi vs multiple lights linked to your WiFi. It does require a degree of technical know how.

I needed this item for the Phillips hdmi sync box. Works amazingly. This connects to a modem/router that is also synced to the hdmi sync box.

I like this because you can turn the lights on when your out of town to make it look like you are there! It's also nice that you can turn down the lights or change the color without getting up from where you are sitting.

I bought this second generation bridge because of the limitations of my first generation. This bridge was very easy to set up and connected to all my lights. I love the app and its ability to select eleven different scenes. I can select the mood I want to create. Hue lighting is an awesome product.
