I'm very pleased with my hue system. My wife was totally cheesy with the ability to have red and green lights in the house during holidays. I also love being able to torture my teenage daughter by turning on her lights when it's time to get up! The simple pleasures in life...

Works like a champ and was simple to set up. If you’re using Hue lightning this is worth it.

This is so much better than the previous gen 1 bridge. I had used the old gen 1 bridge since 2013 as I was cheap and didn't want to upgrade. I thought it was no big deal and that it can't be worth the upgrade, but I was way wrong. My lights turn on faster and everything feels and acts snappier. I also noticed it discovers new bulbs much more easily than the old one too. Overall it's top notch philips quality as usual.

My Phillips hue hub has really made it easy to light my house with voice command. Once I got it set up with Alexa I can turn on all my lights on or off change the colors set up different scenes it’s awesome

I’m just starting to add smart home tech to my home. This bridge allows me to use HomeKit to control my lights. I also wanted it to be compatible with other popular smart home hubs so that if I want to use something different in the future it will still work.

Works great! I am using it to control light strips for my TV.

Set up was a breeze. Took seconds. It has great signal strength and has no trouble finding hue bulbs. Love the app for setting routines. Have not tried compatibility with other smart bulbs/zigbee but eager to see what all works with it.

As long as you're aware that you need this bridge to operate the Phillips hue lights, you're good to go! I personally bought this and the individual colored lights separately because I didn't want the just white lights that came with the starter kit. Very easy to set up and your house or room has all sorts of different mood settings controlled from the palm of your hand!!!

Works as expected but really only useful if you have multiple lights in multiple locations

Great product. The store we ordered it from had it shipped to our home and it was lost for 3 weeks until I went into the store to request a new one. Works great though would definitely recommend!

Had the Hue v1 and is was very good. However, I couldn't call up the different scenes when using Alexa as it was unable to find them. Upgraded to the Hue v2 and Alexa was able to find all the different scenes. I can now change scenes with voice commands! This is great!

After trying the Sylvania Lightify brige this one actually works better with some 3rd party lights I also wanted to connect. The iphone app is also better. Pretty cool to be able to tell the Google home to turn the lights on and off as well as adjust the brightness.

I was skeptical about going the phillips hue route but man this thing is awesome. Highly recommend

Purchased this after trying another product from a different company that failed to work. I have to say that at his point in time I have not had a single issue using this product, nor did I have any issues setting it up. Very simple and fun.

I was hesitant about getting the Hue system because of the many components, but I'm glad I did. The setup was fairly easy, though I didn't realize before I bought it that it needed to be plugged into the modem. I like that Phillips has different kinds of bulbs, like the candelabra bulbs, which I couldn't find anywhere else. The app is easy to navigate.

Works as intended. I had to search online for guidance on how to use the "scenes" for automatically scheduling, but the bridge itself works perfectly

Wasn't sure I needed this but you do. After buying it you can control up to 50 lights. Worth it overall since my whole house is converting to led. I can make any scene I'd like by room.

initially I was upset because I brought the light strip without realizing that I needed this bridge. I ended up giving into buy this bridge and I am happy with being able to control my lights and other lights in the home. its addicting

I have a smartthings hub for all my smart home gadgets, but I definitely recommend still adding this hub. It allows you a lot more control with the lights than by just using them with a normal hub
