I’m not very tech savvy, and worried this would be difficult to set up. But I was pleasantly surprised. Simple quick installation. And my lights work the way I intended them to be. Thank you.

Having a separate network for my lightbulbs was a brilliant move for me to declutter all of my WIFI. Works great and is easy to set up, integrate, and automate!

Connectivity is better than lifx, lights are super bright in white colors

I wouldn’t really recommend buying any Phillips hue products unless you have the money, you have to buy this on top of buying expensive lights just to control the lighting.

Very necessary product to link with any Phillips Hue product. When setup it works like a charm with great customization. Highly recommend

This bridge works great with SIRI. It controls the light with no problems. I have tries it on both a white light and a colored light. Once attached to the network via an ethernet cable it was easy to sync to my iPhone.

Needed for hue light full functionality, works as expected. Looking forward to a future when it works wirelessly and not exclusively through Ethernet.

I had heard/read mixed reviews in terms of incorporated this version into Home. Can’t say it has given me any problems, and has been a nice addition :-)

The bridge provides for a multitude of options when using this light strip. It's pretty much plug-and-play the app is very intuitive and does not take any special skill or knowledge to use it;however this additional cost is a little alarming because the light strip itself is very pricey

I love the light And you can’t have the light without the controller to go with it this seems to work very easily and I am very happy with the product As I gave it away as a gift

gotta have this device to set up the hue system. i got this device separately and then just mixed and matched bulbs. sometimes the bundles are a better deal, but this worked out for me.

Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who owns multiple hue products.

The heart of the hue system. I didn't realize I needed this in order for my bar light to work. Overall, everything works fine and no problems so far.

The bridge makes it easy to control my lighting from my phone. Easy to use out of the box. Intuitive set up in minutes. Controls multiple devices.

Although I used the geek squad to configure my smart home setup, this product is very easy to manage. Once it was installed, I have had no issues making changes to my setup.

If you plan on having a few to several dozen Hue bulbs, I give this 5 stars. If however, you plan to have more than 50 bulbs you may want to plan and rethink this investment. I have two floors with approximately 75 Hue bulbs and therefore required to have two Hue Bridges. Each bridge manages a maximum of 63 bulbs with problems starting around 50. Philips cheaped out when they could have supported more, especially at this price point. Second, the two bridges do not seamlessly interoperate with each other, a massive screwup on Philips part. I have to switch from reach hub to manage my bulbs..... insanely stupid. That said, if you can deal with the limitations, great. Otherwise, I suggest you rethink investing in Philips. I clearly made a terrible mistake.

Works as attended would buy again. Hub is easy to set up and use. However i had to get crafty...bc i dont have hard wired internet.

I wasn't expecting much when I purchased this. I was actually worried this would cause some stress like some other hubs I've used. This turned out to work pretty seamlessly though. Definitely recommend

Was very simple and easy to install- I’m not exactly an IT specialist but this upgrade to the new bridge took under 10 minutes!
