    I bought this to replace the first version, and this one is better because you can control it with Siri. It was easy to setup, and works perfectly with my Home Automation system.

    needed to upgrade from the OG bridge to get higher usability. much easier to connect it seems. updates by itself (usually). nice build quality. it looks nice on my center console. I do have one issue: it has to be directly wired I believe which is an issue for me. my home is not really wire friendly and the lights are out of the range of where the bridge would sit. I have to use up one of my precious ethernet ports. it is a noteworthy sacrifice for light bulbs. would be 3 stars but i realize this is just my particular case. still... it's 2018. wi-fi antennas are tiny. PERFECT FOR AN APARTMENT.

    The bridge does what it says. The hue is easily connected via the app. It's astounding with the number of bulbs a single bridge is able to connect. Nice job Philips.
