    Giving 5 stars as there are no issues and it works great, but personally don’t see why Hue requires a bridge when other RGB light bulb companies are able to do it through WI-FI flawlessly. Besides the extra cost and required equiptment it does it’s job.

    This bridge allows you to do more than the 1st gen did which is good. Like the ability to control the lights from anywhere.

    If you have the older hub, you’ll definitely want this. Not only do the lights respond faster, this hub allows for HomeKit integration. I can now turn my lights on from my car or phone by simply asking Siri. And yes, it works with HomePod too. On a side note, the button on the Hub2 is bigger and responsive compared to the original hub. So if you do a lot of pairing, this is certainly the hub to get.
