Bought this for daughter's partner, and they love it!

I don't really need it for my situation, so I actually returned it. I only have 6 hue lights in my house: 4 in my home office space, and 2 in my bedroom. The bluetooth app works plenty good for me. I don't really know who needs this item. I assume it's the rich folks who have replaced every bulb in their house with a hue bulb and want to control them all from anywhere in the world? Don't quote me on that.

This is my 5th Bridge and I’d say that they get the job done. They’re easy to set up. Although I needed to have 5 separate email addresses for me to have remote access to my bridges. I would give them a 4.5 star because they would sometimes disconnect from my WiFi, even though my WiFi is still connected and has strong signal.

I’m bummed you have to have it connected to a wireless receiver constantly and not just one time. Kind of annoying.

First of all, the device works as designed with no problems. What I actually don't like, is the fact that this is in addition to my SmartThings Hub, another device needed to allow control of the color of my Hue Lightstrip without a smartphone. I'd love to get rid of it to limit the number of devices to a minimum. The SmartThings Hub would basically be able to manage the light.

Part of the Phillips Hue system, helps add to the home viewing experience! Love the entire system together, essential to buy all the pieces but can be pricey, totally worth it though!

I like it a lot but just don't get why we have to use it to connect bulbs I thought they were Bluetooth Overall is good

I was hesitant to make this purchase because of the higher than expected start up cost. After taking the plunge I have been more than ecstatic about my decision. It takes less than 10 minutes to set it up. I love the app and ability to control lights from my phone. It takes up to 50 lights so its a great investment for someone who is looking to upgrade their lighting set up.

In stock and ready for pick up at a fair price. Not everyone has Philip Hue equipment but BestBuy seems to always have what I need. Game changer for getting what I need when I need it.

Without the Hub, HUE lights are no where near as good. It’s an essential for the ecosystem.

Had the 1st Gen, and everything about it was just fine...but I’m an Apple Geek, and everything in the house is Apple, along with a large assortment of Philips Hue lighting, so I upgraded to this bridge to be able to use the Siri function to control the lights by voice activation. Love it!

Received as a gift worked well with the rest of the Google home products!

I Purchased this as an upgrade to my old Hue Bridge and this one does the trick! I can confirm it connects to my Apple HomeKit and my Google Home. Just as needed!
