Great addition

There are no windows in the room and it is always dark. The addition of this sensor with the philips hue light bulbs has been great. Perfect lighting during the day and dimmed for the evening.

I was pleasantly surprised that it works even when my ISP is down. Works on your Wi-Fi whether you're connected to the internet or not.

Great automation

Actually bought this hue bridge because my other one finally hit the max number of lights that I could connect to it.

Great but setup was difficult

Make sure you make note of the serial #s before installing. What I do really like is the ability to set up a recurring event or events each day for lights or groups of lights. You can even set it up for dawn to dusk based on where you live.

Works great for Homekit

Very quick and responsive. Only downside is that it requires a direct Ethernet connection from your router. Other than very happy with purchase.

Awesome integration

However, most importantly, I got this to sync w/ Razer Chroma so that my lights would flash and do things relative to what was happening in game! Awesome integration and immersion for games!
