I'm using this in my theater room for cove lighting. This really sets the mood and the room is set up so these stay on at about 30% during movie play which adds just enough light to safely move about. Still working on the scene settings, but it has a lot of flexibility.

I had a 1st gen hub, but upgraded because they won't be supporting the 1st gen soon. That was annoying, but at least the conversion process was pretty easy. I had to keep both plugged in and the app did most of the heavy lifting.

The hue system in general is fantasitc! I love the ability to control various lights over wifi and this bridge let's me control lights even when I'm not home. The fact it uses apple home is also a great addition as I am an iPhone user and frequently use Siri to control my lights and their colors. Was it worth $59.99? Probably not but you really don't have an option.

It was very easy to set this up, nice for the price.

Starting out using this at the basic function for simple lighting ambiance behind my tv. Love the lighting effects and will definitely look at expanding to using for other Hue lighting options.

So I got the lightstrip for behind my TV and then realized I needed this little gadget. I wish I had known that earlier before spending money twice on two separate items. But worth it since I also got a smart bulb with my new echo show.

I have had such a great experience with hue products. They are absolutely worth the price.

This bridge is very easy to set up. I literally plugged it up opened the app pushed a button and it was connected! If you are scared of technology thinking you may have to input numbers and do a bunch or "tech" work to get it set up don't worry it is really easy!

Philip's Hue bridge v1 is being replaced and in order to use their products in the same manner I was previously using them, they informed me that I had to buy the v2 bridge. Works the same as the old one so...

Good product - simple setup and worked right out of the box

Hub is plug and play for the most part. Not issues.

This was such a simple installation for so much reward. Plugging these in and creating HomeKit scenes took an hour or so, and every dinner or party we've had since has generated tons of comments and notice. On our way to a smart home! It would be 5 stars if the app contained more suggested scenes - you have to buy third party apps to do that.

I started to get irritated with my Phillips Hue system. It was just sooooo slow. I finally upgaraded to the new hub, and all of my woe's have ended. Everything works lightning fast. A definite mush have for anyone still using the old hub.

Great product from philips. Works well with amazin echo. The only downside is philips hue app need to add lot of feature , colors, theme music , music recognisation and change colors etc. need to buy 3 rd part apps for it . Why cant philips provide it!

I got two hue bulbs as a gift, but little did I know I also needed this bridge to have them connected to the internet. After picking this up, I can now shout orders at Alexa and the Philips lights respond to my commands.
