I had a hard time deciding between these lights and LIFX lights. In my opinion both are great, but Phillips Hue took the cake because they have the dimmer remote/switch. This is helpful in my opinion if I want to turn the lights on/off and don’t have my cell phone handy.

Are these lights necessary? Nope! These lights are fun to play with and can be useful. As I learn more on how to utilize these lights the more I add to my house and the more addictive it is. This is a good startup kit and gives you a good starting platform to expand on.

The lights are bright & very colorful & easy to set up but sometimes they don’t always respond but overall a good purchase!

Would highly recommend. Love all the colors of Hue Lighting. Works well with Alexa. Love the ability, that allows me the ability to set the mood in any color I want and I can now set the time I want the lights to come on and off at night while at home or away.

They are so easy to install, justo connect everything, download the app and they are ready to use. Can control my home lights from anywhere in the world and maintain my home safe, amazing and bright colors and works perfectly with apple home app and Siri.

What a cool starter kit. Definitely starting me on my path to fully upgrading the important fixtures of my home. Hopefully the prices will continue to go down. 15 bucks a bulb kind of stinks but its really neat what you can do with these. Easy setup also!

Very easy to setup, just screw in the light bulb where you want it, configure it on your phone, and then start enjoying all the many colors! One thing that is bothersome is that the Hue hub has to be hardwired into your router, but otherwise it is a fine setup.

I really like these lights. They're very easy to set up and run, they're fun to play with (turn different colors), and it's convenient to set up timers. I have the app on my devices, but I also like using the dimmer switch as a remote. I would recommend.

Installation and updating the bulbs and hub was incredibly easy. The Hue app is truly impressive, and the full range of colors and brightness/dimming gave new life to our entertainment areas. Can't wait for the next sale to expand our implementation.

Purchased as a gift for two family members that aren’t using smart lighting yet. After owning several Hue products we can’t recommend enough. Even tech challenged people can easily setup and operate. Works flawlessly with Google Assistant and Siri.

I really like the idea of having your lights controlled by you remotely thru wifi. And the different colors that this product has is a bonus. I could create moods instantly in the house and can set timer to switch it on and off. Awesome product

This starter kit was the introduction to my smart lighting. It is a great kit, and couldn’t be happier. Easy to set up and get integrated into my smart home ecosystem. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but couldn’t be happier with the kit.

I love these lights. The app it wonderful. You can tell they invested a lot in making sure this product works seamlessly. I am very impressed. Yes, they are a little pricy but if you are trying to up your "smart home" game, go with these.

I picked up this bundle on sale for $120. If you are looking to outfit your home with Hue bulbs, this is probably your best bang for your buck. Stand alone bulbs cost between $40-50 a piece. This set gives you three bulbs, a hub, and a dimmer switch. You could resell any extra hubs and dimmer switches (if you don’t need them) and spend less than buying the bulbs individually. The Philips Hue products are great for those wanting to step in to smart lighting. The colors and scenes are a lot of fun. Also, someone in my family has a sensativity to bright lights, so being able to dim these without installing a dimmer switch is a huge plus!

Easy to use the lights look great and are a great source of light. I have the bridge hub taped to the under dude of my desk. It's convenient and provides a good night light under the desk.

I have been adding to my Phillips Hue collection for a few years, and this kit was an essential purchase for the collection. I love the wide range of color options, and there are lots of apps that add to the experience

Lights are great, have a fantastic color range, and are easy to setup and use- especially with the included dimmer switch. Also easily extensible with a lot of other off-the-shelf and custom home automation options.

Can individually change colors, so it looks and feel pretty cool. Makes the room look different all the time. Easy set up and control. using it in my kitchen so it looks cozy and warm when we have friends over..
