I bought this as a Black Friday deal and it was well worth the money! The setup is very easy and I loved that I could link it with my Google Home. I also love all the different color options these lights offer.

A fun little kit to get you started with customizing your home lighting. An expensive thing to get into because once you have a couple bulbs, you want to use them everywhere in the house! I bought this specific kit because it was on sale. I don’t use the dimmer switch at all & will likely sell it. Set up with the hub was super simple & controlling via the app is also easy & intuitive.

I have the 4 bulb starter set at home that I purchased last year. I love it. I have echo dots around the house and have all my rooms set up. I was in the market to get at least 1-3 bulbs and a dimmer switch from Hue, when I came across this starter set. The price was amazing and I highly recommend it if you are getting into the smart bulb world. The wife hated the bulb on our dimmer switch in the dinning room, so I installed it to the dining room light and we all win! I had so many timers in my living room that at night it sounded like Doc Browns garage in 1985. Smart bulbs are great for mood, function, and security as they can be programmed for any brightness, color or time of day. Love the whole system!

Oh my, I love the fact it works with Alexa and the different colors the light changes to. I'm going to buy more very soon because I want my entire home complete with the Phillips Hue lights.

The Hue lights were fast and very easy to setup and they provide endless color possibilities. They are very responsive whether using the app or included dimmer as well. Will be buying more in the future.

This starter kit is really simple to install and use. My husband put them up in the living and loves all the combos of colors you can make for mood lighting or to for a movie we're watching

I love these lights so much I went out and got more. My mother in-law got me a gift card to purchase this starter pack. And I put the bulbs around the house. Love the themes and that they work with Alexa. I sometimes ask Alexa to turn on lights that I forget I don’t have a smart bulb yet lol very easy to install and use daily. I also love that you can set them on a routine to come on and off as your needs. Come home to a lit house from work turn off and start dimming when it’s tome for bed. So many good things to say about these. Actually love the wall dimmer as well for non tech people who visit. They are a bit pricy but worth every penny. *alexa turn on all the lights*

I dig these. It's basically my new toy. Never before did I feel that lights could be so much fun. For starters, I have Hue lights installed in my kitchen, living room and bedroom. I also went a little overboard and paired it with Alexa, Google Assistant and Home Kit since I own all of those devices, and so far it's been great controlling the lights with voice and smartphone. The range of scenes you can achieve through the lights are phenomenal. But what I really love about them is how you can customize them. For instance, you can take a picture (say a sunset) and through the Hue app, you can set your lights to mimic the scene of the sunset picture you took. Pretty neat I'd say. Another feature that I really dig is the routines. I wake up to my alarm around 7am everyday but I've programmed the lights to gently turn on around 650, and soft warm shades slowly wake me up form my slumber. I've yet to try the dimmer. But you can either wall mount it or stick it using adhesive. I'm thinking of putting it next to my bed so that I can orchestrate all the lights before sleep. My wife hates it though. She finds it to be gimmicky. But I'm working on refining her taste and appreciating the joy of colored lights.

Quick and Easy Installation. Good for smaller closed rooms not big open room. Lights are able to dim to different percentages and also be programmed with different modes. Price is a bit pricey.

I'm an electronics nerd and had not yet jumped into the home automation scene yet. These are so simple and the results are jaw dropping. My theater looks like a real one and acts as one!

I love these lights. The colors are so intense and you can do so many cool things with them if you get some of the 3rd party apps. Def get these if you’re gonna setup a Hue system.

Great starter bundle with the 3 lights and the switch. Colors are very visible and even can work with video games. I got one for myself and my mother. Will be buying more again

For years refused to adopt the HUE because of the price and yet another bridge. Then did a setup for a client with 6 strips and a rope. Good heavens. That Bridge is awesome since it occupies a single spot on your network and everything else is ZigBee. The system is solid, no glitches. Google, Alexa you name it have no problem finding the lights and using them in routines you create. The HUE portfolio quadrupled in a year or so and competition seems to be dumbfounded. The only thing missing is the appliance wall plug. Mind you here in the US we are not seeing all the products they have in Europe but that might change.

This is my first experience with the newer generation of their bulbs, and the blues and greens are much improved. Still way over priced, but great products.

Wanted to try these lightbulbs for a while glad I did very easy set up. Love being able to set different scenes for different times of the day can’t wait to buy some more.

EZ to set up and it worked great, initially. Colors were brilliant and the multiple variations and potential for endless possibilities is pretty awesome. Then it stopped working (i.e. lights won't respond to on/off, etc. Hopefully its a matter of resetting the system. Bought two of these sets, so, I'm hoping it's an easy fix.

Bought the starter set online deal of the day. Easy set up the hub and bulbs synced with no problems. Connected with alexa and can control lights from anywhere.

Download the Hue app, replace your old bulb with a Hue bulb, flip on the light switch, start the Hue app and wait for it to recognize the bulb. Now you’re ready to turn off and on the bulb from your phone or tablet, set it’s brightness and warmth, change its color and create an on-off schedule. The app can schedule light from sunset to sunrise based for your location or by set times (plus or minus some variance if you’d like) on specific days of the week. Well designed and thought out options, Gen 3 bulbs have good max brightness. Colors are pleasant. 3 pack on sale is a good deal!

My son already had a set of these bulbs but wanted to expand his setup. It works well with the bulbs we already have. They're expensive, though.
