I've been wanting to set up smart lights in my home office for some time now, but it wasn't until I saw these on sale during Best Buy's President's Day sale that I finally decided to bite. $100 for 3 bulbs, the bridge, and a remote? At that price I decided to buy two because it was cheaper than buying bulbs individually. I'm loving my setup so far, and I've already been setting up tons of scenes based on my friend's artwork and other things I've found online with the app. It has yet to be seen how long they'll last, but for now I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This lights are awesome. We’re super easy to set up. I especially like the app on my phone where I can quickly change the level and color of the lights.

Exactly what we were looking for. Light works great, multicolored lights give different look options for different mood.

I absolutely love the philips hue bulbs! I bought my first starter kit when they were first released. I went with philips over other brands because philips is a well known and trusted brand. Very easy set up. However, during set up of my new bulbs and the bulbs I purchased many years ago, I did have a little issue of getting the new bridge to find the old bulbs. Something must be a little different in the new bulbs. The old bulbs also do not have as many color variances as the new ones but they still get the job done! I highly recommend philips hue!

Sets up flawlessly with Alexa, Nice hue app . Purchased with Google Could not make it work , Had to return hub. Google customer service is a big Fail.

While it’s a bit on the pricey side, it’s fantastic to have when you can change the color of your room without paint needed.

Super easy setup and connects seamlessly to Google Home for easy voice control. The Phillips Hue app is also super easy and intuitive to control.

These lights are so amazing! First, the bulb itself does not heat up like a regular light. Second, the set up is extremely easy & once the app is downloaded control over the different features, color palettes and what color is illuminating is all at your fingertips. The only tricky part I would really say is using the Remote Dimmer Switch; but other than that, it's really simple. I love the preset of colors but I especially love being able to personalize the mood in my living room with just the swipe of a button. 5/5 Totally Recommended!

We love Philip’s hue lighting system. My son wanted it for Christmas. Bought a bulb. Then found out you needed another gadget to make it work (they don’t make that real clear). The other piece was 60.00. The starter kit which came with 3 bulbs, the switch and a remote was only 20 dollars more than one bulb and the switch (it was on sale). Didn’t really think we needed them in our living room, but my husband convinced me it was a better buy. So happy he did. I actually love having all the lights on the remote. And the colors are awesome.

Great product. A ton of different settings to play around with and they work great with music (after purchasing 3rd party apps)

I absolutely love the philips hue lineup. I currently have the old starter pack and just picked up the new one. The bridge was definitely improved and made smaller. I haven't set up the light switch yet but it is a nice feature. Being able to control your lights and set a mood with different colors is a huge plus and being able to have them turn on before you enter your house is a nice safety feature. Will continue to purchase more for the house and also look into their floodlights and different versions.

Setup was a breeze. Colors are great. I'm using these in a kitchen for bright light while working and then as a nightlight.

A great addition to our game room, especially with the addition of a couple extra switches strategically place top and bottom of stairs.

Was hesistant about buying, but so glad I did. Lights are great, and definitely adds flair. Controlling it is as easy as saying 3 words.

While I can understand people hesitate to spend so much for light bulbs but it's great. I can finally say I found led bulbs with good color. Setup was super easy it these work flawlessly. I had attempted cheaper bulbs from an online retailer and immediately regretted it when it came time for setup. Hue is the only bulb for me. I would also tell anyone afraid to buy color bulbs that I will never buy another white bulb after having color. They are amazing and also provide the best options for white light as well.

This review is more about the package deal than about the products themselves. Philips Hue color lights are a lot of fun, though at $50/light, can be prohibitively expensive. This package was priced for a holiday sale, resulting in an overall price less than the three bulbs would be individually; and the package also included the hub and a wall dimmer switch. Since a wall switch is a necessity for any room using hue lights, including the switch as part of this package is essential. At the discounted price for the holiday sale, that meant the switch was effectively free. As a starter package, the hub was also included; and at the holiday price the hub was also effectively free. Each item was also separately boxed, so this package could be broken into separate individual packages for gift giving. A great way to start a new system, though priced low enough to create a functional room full of color lights with a throw-away hub to boot.

Smart bridge, dimmer switch and 3 bulbs, white or multiple colors, with app capabilities to be creative or not. A truly smart buy.
