This switch is very easy to program within the Hue ecosystem app. Very responsive once it is implemented too.

All of my lights are hue. This is key since I don't have to find / fumble with my phone to control the lights in a pinch.

Definitely helpful when you want to just quickly press a button to turn on the lights. I like how you can program it to do different things based on time of day and if you hold the button. The only thing I would change is make the magnet stronger. I had the first gen & that one had a stronger magnet.

Easy to install, easy to program, easy to use, and it does what it is supposed to do. Having all hue lights makes it easier to set it up.

I was looking for a product that would do exactly what this does. I am extremely happy with it. I'm able to control my Philips Hue lights much easier with this remote.

Works great for my bedroom when I dont want to ask google to turn the lights on or off. Just sticks on wall and is magnetic held in. YOU NEED A BRIDGE TO USE.

Easy to use. App allows to to customize which room to use with and customize buttons. Can use as a switch mounted to the wall or as a controller.

Seriously, if you use Philips hue smart lighting, these are such a no-brainer. We have Phillips lights throughout the entire house, and without these simple remotes our guests would be confused and struggling with using apps. This takes all of the guess work out of turning your lights on and off as if you had them operating from switches. Such a great and simple product, highly recommend!

It's been five months now and we still haven't got used to the on button being the off button too instead of on and scene selection like the previous switches! The product is fine, especially if you're just buying in as a new user or an existing one without any switches, just not sure what prompted a redesign as i would imagine it leaves the majority of hue owners with an inconsistent experience unless they had bought every one they would ever need pre design change, which we didn't. The old switch was more intuitive to use from a UX perspective - there's less chance you would immediately be turning them off after turning them on, but plenty of chance you might change the scene when you turned them on, and doing that with a single button still seems more user friendly. Between this and the app redesign it feels like stuff has been getting changed at hue simply for the sake of it, rather than because customers were asking for it

It can sometimes be a challenge setting up a dimmer, but once set up they work great for those that dont want to use voice commands to turn on/off the lights. I like that you can also use the remote to cycle through pre-programmed color scenes. Highly recommend if you love lighting your home with Hue lights.

Worked well out of the package, easy to set up! Glad it came with a battery already in there.

Wife enjoys using this instead of using Alexa to control the hue lights. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.

I've been very happy with this product. It's easy to install and will operate the lights connected with no wifi at all.

Not much to say other that they it works perfectly as it should. It pairs easy with lights vis the app and it's great used as a light switch. I have two lamps paired to so when I use this remote/switch it controls both lamps at the same time. Basically you control a "room" with it so my room has 2 lamps. I just leave it on the wall and use it as a switch so I don't always have to use my phone to control my lamps but you can take the remote with you to couch or whatever and it magnetically vattaches to the base plate on the wall.

Just want to start out by saying I really miss the old version. of the switch. The new version just seems to eat through batteries. It took my 5 years before I had to change batteries with the old model and the new one is asking for a replacement after maybe 2 years or less. Also like the buttons on the old model. Does this one still work...Yes. Is it a superior model to the previous..No. I also hate how the new model is slightly different size so I can't move it to a different holder around the house.

Love using this instead of a light switch, give the ability to change lights or power them with the phone or when you walk in the room.

I love this "remote". It is super easy to set up. I use it for Apple HomeKit so I had to configure it in the Hue App to use in HomeKit. I have each button perform a different function either to turn on a light or turn on a scene. If you have Phillips Hue lights in your home, I highly recommend it. It still works with non Hue Lights in HomeKit so that is also a plus.

Easy setup. Using it for my hue recess lights in my kitchen. Upgraded from Lutron remote (wink required). Much faster response using this Hue remote.

We purchased MANY Hue White and Color Recessed lights to replace our existing recessed lights and we love them! We added a dimmer switch to each room that we redid so that it is very easy to use for anyone else who may come to visit and don’t want to talk to Alexa and Siri for their lighting needs. Leave the main switch ON for the lights and let the dimmer switch or your AI turn the lights on and off…if you turn off the main switch the lights will “fall off of” your wifi connection and you will have responsiveness delays unnecessarily…
