These get really bright and do a decent job of dimming. I think they're definitely overpriced, but I'm glad they finally made some of these retro-looking lights. This opens many opportunities with cool standalone light fixtures from places like wayfair, ikea etc.

I had an issue where at night the bulb would altretante its brightness level where i could notice. it woud be a bit anotying. For my use, it was not dim enough during the night time. I eneded up getting Lifx bulbs because they do not require a hub and connect to my wi-fi and do not dim its brightness.
