Great colored LED lights
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Philips Hue Lightstrip colored LED lights throw good light and color combinations. But the double-back tape to secure the strips doesn't hold that well and the power supply is bulky. For my studio installation, I purchased LED Strip aluminum channels with lens covers that are designed to hold LED strips and installed an electric box to hold the bulky power supply. This provided a permanent finished installation and protects the lightstrips from dust.

Every light in my house is now Hue lighting!

This is the best way to redesign your home without having to redesign your home. Friends are amazed, neighbors are in awe. By the way, the best app in my opinion is "onswitch" (ios)

Great backlight for TV

They really enhance the picture quality as they frame the picture. The smart phone app is very easy to use and set up with the hub is quite easy as well. You should really consider this; you will like it!!

Setting the Mood

The vibrant backlighting goes a long way in stepping your entertainment center up to the home theater level. Ask Alexa to "Netflix and Chill" then sit back as the room is bathed in that warm movie theater red glow. Now you'll be nice and relaxed as you spend the next 3 hours deciding what to watch.
