Unlike the first version of these strips the current version has good light color accuracy. Response time is near instant. Also the power cable is improved in ways that allow you to hide it and drill smaller holes for routing.

in a word...awesome! we spent a lot of money for most of the house on these, but it is so cool. the different scene settings and the timers! we also synced it with our TV remote so we have everything at our fingertips!

Really liked the light. Was surprised how much light it gave out on a dark night. Really satisfied. I have a rear yard area I’m going to add this to our entertaining area.

It’s addressable and very responsive. The reason you would buy this is if you have the hue ecosystem that the is is designed to work with. Super happy with purchas

Good colors, very bright but can also dim way down.

Positives: 1) i use as a mood light behind m TV/home theater - perfect for that application 2) dimmable, color changes and works with macros on my Logitech Harmony Negatives: 1) longer cord would be nice

The new Hue strips are way better than the original ones, Thanks to the addition of more LED's these put out many times more light than the old strips did. The adhesive back makes these easy to stick up anywhere as well.

Purchased two of these light strips to add to the back of a TV console to replace some older generic LEDs. Matches much better with my hue bulbs and the ability to control with the app makes them even cooler.

i have a few cheaper light strips that work well but when i bought this philips light strip you will definitely notice the difference. Its an amazing product spend the extra money and get what your really looking for.

I love the other products from Hue, but this light strip needs a little more work. It doesn’t get as bright as some other brands, it’s not capable of displaying multiple colors, and I wish I could use the parts I trimmed off on another light strip instead of buying the extension.

I placed two of these light strips along with two of the 3 foot extensions along the underside edges of my king size bed. The effect of the subtle colored lighting emanating from under the bed has a really cool appearance.

I was hesitant at first to invest in expensive lighting but after I purchased one, I bought 5 more the same week. Seemless integration with google home and other smart automation, 10 out of 10, would recommend!

I have these on a plant shelf and they do a great job lighting the whole shelf without physically being visible. The newest version has a much improved color spectrum vs the previous generation.

The light strip was for an entertainment setup. And it doesn’t disappoint. I like that I can sync my lights to my music and tv. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I have a lot of Phillips hue bulbs. I love the fact that they just added the memory too have the bulbs either remain on or off depending on last use, or have the bulbs turn on at white setting.

I had some too bright light LED's in my kitchen and it made it way too bright at night. I combined this strip under the counter with some HUE bulbs and now it fees warm and relaxing. Great combo

I wanted it for my kitchen to replace the fluorescent on the ceiling but after more research, decided to return unopened. These are really meant for a different application, under or around cabinets, etc.

I like how you can change the light in the room to match your mood and there's apps that you can download that can sync to your music. I recommend getting the add on strip because its not very long.

I really like the lights I have, but found that unless you stick them on a completely flat surface they don't stick and will fall down after about a week or 2. Talked with company about this and the only solution was I could go buy new 3m tape that was a heavier duty from a craft or hardware store. If I am spending $80 a box for them and they already come with 3m on them then why doesn't the company just make their product with the better tape. Which by the way I was able to buy 100ft of the better tape for $6. Just make sure you get the kind that has the red plastic on the one side of the double tape. I believe they are for mailboxs and hold up to 10lbs or something like that. Since I replaced tape they have been great. I do like having the motion sensor for the under cabinets in kitchen so they automatically come on when I walk in or I get home.

These light are so nice they change colors and flash. And the BEST part is that I got them FREE!! They do everything my son wanted them to do. Thank you for the gift!!
