Bought this to backlight my 65” LG OLED. I used this plus 1 extension. Set back about 6” from TV border. Works perfectly with the hue app, as well as the 3rd party hue apps I use. Can dim or brighten as you like for more or less dramatic effect. Installation was quick and simple

I originally got this for my projector screen which is 8 feet by 5 feet. These are a little over 6 feet so I needed the extension. However, when I received the extension, inside was a bungee cord and my local BB store didn't have any so I re-purposed the shorter lightstrip to use on top of my blinds. If you have any other hue bulbs or products, setting it up is exactly the same and easy to use. They are very bright and colors look great. I'm happy with the purchase just is a bit expensive for such a short length. I

I do love Philips Hue products. It was easy to install and not as hard to get around corners as I thought it would be. Tip to get around corners is to use extra 3m mounting tape or squares on either side of the corner. I wish these were longer. The adhesive seems pretty strong so far.

I purchased these for over-cabinet accenting, I liked the fact that they can be controlled by wireless via the app, set with routines and scenes. The flexibility of colors is extensive and you can change each as you wish either by pre-programmed scenes or manually with the color palette. This came as a buy 2, get a free bridge offer, and definitely needs to have one. The bridge is a mini hub that sits off an ethernet port (make sure you have one available!) preferably near the lighting area for coverage. When setting up you can specify name/room and which scenes each light belong to (in my case this is simple, but add-ons can all have their place and function, like exteriors). The lights themselves come as a roll with back side tape (I didn't use since they are laying on the cabinets as shown in photo), and are best suited for linear runs, as they do not have a lot of lateral movement. They can be trimmed down and/or added to quite easily. The one glitch I've seen is that for some reason the lights don't always turn on manually after they have run through a routine on a timer. It can be worked around by changing the scene, but I'm not sure of the reason. Setup does take quite a while as it downloads and installs to each strip separately. Overall a good product with customization options.

These lights are awesome. I put them under my bar in the kitchen. I love changing all the colors. It adds a little something extra!

We used the light strips for under-cabinet lighting in our kitchen and in a nook shelf unit. We also installed a couple of Hue lightbulbs in the open floor plan living room/kitchen areas. The space was very dark prior, but with the Hue system, the difference is dramatic. It is really brightened it up and allows us to regulate the lighting in the entire space. LOVE IT. A little pricey, but so far worth it.

I've purchased this for my office lightning decoration, and let me tell you: it looks outstanding, I couldn't be happier. I really love how easy was to set up, and how easy is to change the colors/settings through the Hue mobile app. Highly recommended

Put these behind my tv & it looks awesome. Great for viewing tv in the dark or enhancing movies.

I really like this light strip. It’s easy to set-up. Works well with amazon Alexa. Easy to use. Really adds ambiance to any room.

I thought these lights for my 14 yr old daughter for Christmas. The lights are really cool. The lights are very bright and the app that you download on your phone is user-friendly. However the LED lights did become damaged and I have attached a picture to this review. A section became dim. I returned and it happened again. But then they started to work so I didn’t return them a second time. I would give the design a 4 out of 5 stars. HOWEVER, the supposedly sticky take is a joke. The lights keep falling so I had to go to the hardware store and get double sided strong gorilla tape. I do not thing it is worth the price. Prices extremely high.

I just love this Hue stuff. Did my kitchen cabinet toe-kicks with these hue lightstrips and it turned out amazing. Can use Siri on my Apple products to 'control' them and have the Hue Dimmer Switch also. Everything works seamlessly !!

I bought them. On Black Friday for 60, which is better then 90. The lights easy to install just make sure really clean the area you wish to place them. Lights work great with apple home kit and the home bridge.

I had been considering the Hue Lightstrip for over a year now. Been looking for the ideal strip for Bias lighting for my TV. All of my lights in the living room are hue, so this was a seemless addition. Love the look and can’t beat the brightness. Only complaint, which I knew when going into it, is that Philips didn’t design the strip with the idea of cutting and extending as you need. So, I had to purchase 3rd party adapters and make cuts on the solder joints, not the locations Philips suggests, in order to make the 90 degree bends on back of TV. Easy enough to do but still a bit disappointing that Philips didn’t design them with this in mind. If you are even the slightest bit handy, you can easily do the same if you are looking for that perfect Bias TV lighting. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cut and toss design Philips chose. Check out the photos. Looks great and works perfect with Alexa in conjunction with all my other hue bulbs. Great purchase!

The device is easy to use and easy to install. The lights are nice and bright at full and dim to barely visible if desired. Using ifttt I connected the lights to my echo and entertainment system so i can voice command them. 10/10

I have more than 50 hue products including 8 light strips. It’s pretty beautiful and bright with awesome color range. Only complaint I have is it may not stick tight enough on some surfaces.

I put these around my new projector screen and it makes the screen pop! The app works great and I have it connected to Google Home. I can just ask the Google Assistant to change to whatever color I want. It also can cycle through pre-programmed colors. A wonderful investment!

I put the lightstrip behind the TV and also behind the media cabinet and it's amazing how great these look. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to make their living room feel nice and cozy

I love the Philips Hue lighting system. So easy to use! Great for the home tech person. Colors are amazing and fill the room with color. I used my led strip lights on the underside of my stair rail.

If you have Phillips Hue lights then this is a must have for backlighting your TV. The dynamic that it adds to the viewing experience is phenomenal. I am going to purchase more in the future for each of my other TVs as well as accent lighting behind my dresser.

If you are happy with other Hue products ... this is a no brainer. Reliable product. Very responsive to on/off. Wide color range. My one criticism would be the adhesive. For most part, very reliable. But in one section I had to buy and use double stick tape. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
