    When I purchased this item I was unsure if it charged or had to plug directly into a power source as the box didn’t say. I have many of the products by Philips and was excited to put this under my dining room bar cabinets. Unfortunately they have to plug directly into a power source and the plug is bulky. Unless you’re handy, there are some setbacks to this.

    Lights are very bright. Has full spectrum of color. Tape is a little weak but just attach with clips

    This is a high-end product with a app that lacks major functionality. This product itself if you're already familiar with hue is nice to have and complements other hue products. I was new to hue lighting and the apps have major issues so I could not justify investing on the products. Read the app reviews. Major features like geofencing is broken. That was huge deal breaker when considering cost.
