This thing is substantially cheaper and poorer quality than anything else Phillips I've bought previously. Out of the box it was semi-broken in that if it was twisted even slightly one of the light channels would shut off (changing the entire light color being given off). It's basically junk. Buy their bulbs, but don't buy this.

Only cool thing Is you can control it with the app that’s ehy I bought it but lights sometimes get off

The lights sticky tape doesn’t work well and the lights don’t change with music like it says.

I think these lights are very over priced for what they really are.

Seems like a great idea but the app is awful and you can expect to constantly reconnect your lights everyday. I spent a few hundred dollars on Phillip hues lights and I have to use them as normal lights because their app to control the lights is unbearable. I’ve tried multiple 3rd party apps but now you’re opening yourself go knows who.

I was not a fan of the adhesiveness of the product. The lights are great but don't want to stay.

Very sad that the items would NOT stick to the wall :( Kept falling off. Also my son was VERY disappointed after all we spent for the light that they did not change color's as shown on the box. We had to buy something else. VERY miss leading and the lights were expensive!!

The set I got had a couple of issues; 1) the adhesive on the lightstrip appeared to be "old" in that it would not stay adhered to the TV surface and 2) I wasn't thrilled with the "colors", i.e. the "Blue" wasn't very blue, etc. Due to the lack of adhesion, I opted to return them.

I was pretty exited to purchase this product. I had done some research and though this was the best of its kind. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The product was cheaply made and extremely complicated to connect (I am very tech savvy) All in all I don't recommend it.

The lights at the end of strip do not change color

Item description says it can be cut and bent to fit the needs. I didn’t bend it crazy, kept everyone over 90° and the lights kept going out so I returned the product.

Waste of money, we bought a whole set to redo our home and find that all lights are spotty as far as consistency, just replaced with non hue lightbulbs. Concept was neat but didn’t meet my expectations.

I have many lights--so many that I have two bridges--and I had been reading about this addition to the hue family over the past month and was quite excited about them. They do not disappoint! The light output is very, very bright. I believe, depending on the color temperature, they are a little more than 10x brighter than the original hue lightstrips. They also have a much greater dimming range. The previous generation of lightstripts (and original hue bulbs, blooms, iris) went from off to about a brightness of 30-40 (on a scale of 0-254). That is, setting the brightness to a value of 10 was no different than 40. The hue Lightstrips Plus can be dimmed by quite a bit more to barely on, maybe around 5 on the same brightness scale. I have one of the Lightstrips Plus as a guide along the stairs and the other one runs along the ceiling of the upstairs hallway. I am waiting for the extensions to be available so I can extend them both as desired. I am also looking forward to the new hue bridge to allow Siri to control my lights. The only negative I have found is if you move your eyes quickly, with your field of vision crossing the lightstrips, you can see them flickering. This effect is not visible with the original lightstrips. My guess is they cycle on and off at a slightly slower rate than the original ones allowing it to enter one's visible perception under limited circumstances. If you're looking at them or they're in your periphery, it is not perceivable. They are an excellent addition to the Philips hue family and I will be purchasing additional ones and extensions.

I have no idea where to put this. It is anchored to a plug and so not easy to hide. I ended up returning it. It did not provide a ton of light and was move novel than functional

tried but never could get it to work at all and had to return it. Found a similar product that works just fine for 1/2 the price at a local electronics supply house.

Do not purchase any Philips Hue Bulbs!!! They will use their very vague wording in the warranty to not replace anything that is not working.

Installed fine, lights go on, but the hub cannot find it. So is just an expensive light strip that can't change colors, and I have to plug in myself.

Phillips drop the ball on this one the item is good but the instructions to connect to the bulb starter kit need a lot of work
