This hue light strip can light up a room with only the need of one strip. The only thing is that if you are new like me you will have to buy the hue by itself for $59.99 to be able to control the color of the lights and not have just white , orange,green lights on full blast.

Vaulted ceilings + Hue Strip on top of kitchen counters = Heaven. The light bounces off the ceiling indirectly lighting the whole kitchen, dining room, and front room. You would think it was professionally planned.

These are great lights. Work great and cool to change the colors through the phone.

I installed these as over cabinet lighting, and these are a perfect solution. Paired with a Hue lights witch remote, these are a much better option in my opinion than traditional over the cabinet lights.

Easy to set up both the hub and the light strip. I love the cool various lighting effects and how I can configure them through my phoney phone. Ohhhhh yeah

Great addition to my man cave. Placed the lights behind my TV and can control them with my phone - very cool and adds great ambiance to the area.

Purchased these to place above my kitchen cabinets and they worked great. They add a loft feel to the space and highlights the details well. I am purchasing more to add beneath the cabinets.

Brighter than the last generation. Also more flexibility in terms of use. Highly recommend them to any hue system.

I bought this, and when I cut it, part of the lights went out, so I exchanged it for a new one. This time I didn't cut or do anything to it, and a section occasionally flickers, very annoying and probably going to return it for a bulb.

Used it for under cabinet lighting. Now I can change to an infinite amount of colors. Works perfectly. The power base is a little thick but I was able to tuck it away.

This is a neat item that has many possibilities. Pros: changes cookies with the app or a third party app will sync to music. Syncs with smartthings. Cons: 3m tape it comes with doesn't hold so well, the light strip is pretty short and requires an extension and if you need to go around a corner under a cabinet then you need a third party extension. Hue needs to improve their app to include the items it advertises on the box.

I already had Hue installed so installation was super easy. I wish the string was modular where you could snap off a few feet

It does exactly what it claims to do. My only problem with Hue light system is the price. I feel like these are overpriced.

Buzzing sound as soon as you add an extension. Back tape does bot stick or false afterwards. Would not recommend to anyone. There is cheaper, better products out there.

I've used this product under a bookshelf to illuminate everything below it and it's worked very well. I particularly like the integration with the Hue app. I later added a hue switch and it all works seamlessly.

This product is just a gimmick. The lights are cool when turned in but the set up is horrible. You can only run them in one direction and once you cut them for excess you are left with a end that can never have anything reconnected to it and the piece that was cut off is useless. Such a waste of money when you trim the lights. Also the adhesive is hardly adhesive. It will stick for the first couple of days but then it will constantly continue to fall off. Also when removing the plastic that covers the adhesive sometimes the adhesive will come off with the plastic making that strip useless. Then you also need 2 other Phillips devices to even run the lights. It’s very overpirced. Cool functions but horrible execution and design.

After seeing the Youtube videos comparing the Hue vs LIFX, I was confused of what to buy. So, I bought both lights on 10/1/2017. I can confidently say that the HUE lights were very weak compared to LIFX. There is no comparison, the LIFX were 10 times better. I immediately returned the HUE light strip. Save your time and take my word for it!

These are a great addition to the already awesome Hue lineup. I only wish that it would be more flexible. Trying to wrap it around the back of your TV is next to impossible, and cutting it down is your LAST option. Once you cut, you don't get it back. Other than that, its really great!

The options are endless when it comes to color selection. It's fun to dress up the living room to match the season or mood. Only complaint is that it only works with Google home in a limited basis. It will turn the strip on and off, but won't change the color. I just use the Hue app to change the color instead.
