The hue color strip works great as accent lighting for the holidays or other occasions and will illuminate a large area with very little visual impact when not turned on.

I have bought 3 of these so far and have used them as above cabinet accent lighting with a with relay as the controller. Great color choices and brightness. Good for any party or holiday .

Adds to the feel of a great movie! Guests love it and their feedback is always positive. Super easy to install and begin using right away.

Fun product. Connects well with the remaining Hue light around the house. Little expensive if compared with competitor that do the same.

You get what you pay for. The adhesive that comes on them works great. You can cut to the correct length and buy extensions if needed. The colors are bright and match the Hue bulbs perfectly.

We absolutely love the philips hue Lightstrips! We use them behind our tv's, under kitchen cabinets, and on shelving in our laundry room.

Pu it behind my TV and like to have it blue though we did try the synching with movie mode--also nice but prefer it static blue with other lights in the room all blue.

The brightness and color on this strip is incredible but the inabillity to separate sections of the strip so you can make a bend or a turn (Such as behind your TV like is advertised) really hurts this product. For something that costs so much you would expect there to be a solution out of the box to separate sections. Philips wants you to cut off wherever you want to separate and purchase a new strip to continue from there. If you know how to solder there are ways to make it happen but for the average user that is a major downside for how much this product costs.

I've had these for about 8 months and I'm satisfied. Getting them behind a TV without slicing into them - and thus negating some of your purchase - is hard...but they're great for longer spaces, like above cabinets or under a bar. Philips should have these at $60,though..not $80-$90.

I needed a light for my sons closet so instead of mounting up a generic bulb light I ran a light strip the length of closet on the upper corner and it lights up the closet better than before.

Im using this for ambiance lighting in my kitchen under cabinets. i liked it so well I decided to do my kitchetn island as well. Gives a cool vibe when entertaining.

Great for use under kitchen cabinets!! Just enough lighting to get the coffee going or just set a mood in the evening...love that we can adjust colors and brightness.

This was bought as a gift for my son. He loves it, and it looks great around his living room above the TV. I like how it looks so much, went out and bought one for me.

It took some doing to get it to work--for some reason, it seems to have a shorter distance for the wireless connector than other lights. But once I got it to work, it really is kinda cool.

These are the SECOND generation strip. These now match the HUE bulbs' colors exactly. It is most noticeable with the white spectrum. Pure daylight and also calming warm light all look perfect. The 3M glue is sufficient to stick my strips on metal and painted walls. These strips have an adapter that connects the 6.5 foot strip to the power cord, this adapter also has 3m glue attachment and it sticks on my wall and metal just fine. I would recommend these for everyone who is interested in getting a lighting system. YOU NEED WIFI. YOU NEED A HUE BRIDGE which is not included here. The 3rd gen BULBS have the newest bridge, you can find a bulb starter kit for 180 ish.

I have these wrapped around my tv, they are super bright. Just make sure they’re just out of sight so it doesn’t blind you if you plan on watching tv with them on.

Easy to set up, length is adjustable, puts out a ton of light. Perfect for under the counter, around the big screen tv or light the hallway stairs!

Super easy and fast setup, just stick it where you want it. Love that I can make my own scenes based off pics or make the light any color I want, Put my behind my TV and love it.

These lights work great and through Alexa can be controlled as far as brightness or color. However, to get the lights to continuously change color like the store demonstration, it takes some work with the Hue app, and doesn't seem able to be controlled by Alexa.

I used this to backlight behind my desk and it looks great! Only con is the provided double sided tape wasn’t to great so I had to use my own that I had on hand.
