I have a Philips bias but these install easy, setup easy, are a good brightness and generate all colors on the spectrum very well. Highly recommended. 4 stars only due to price being about 2-3x other available options, but this is the best one out there.

Great strips, even with the difficulty connecting

I only have three complaints about these strips. 1 - Philips makes it incredibly to customize the length and re-use strips without soldering your own connections. If you plan to cut these, do not cut where Philips marked. Cut between the solder joints so these can be re-used. 2 - You must also buy a bridge to manage these, they're not just plug and play out the box. 3 - The actual strip is directly attached to the controller., meaning the controller must be within a few inches, it can't be hidden with an extension. Other than that, these are fantastic. It is hard to find a LED strip that does both warm white, bright white and colors all in one unit. I installed these as under cabinet lights, using Cat6 cable to extend where needed. I do have other locations where I could use this, but Philips design is not consumer friendly.

    Extension to the Light strip

The Hue light strip plus extension added an extra 3.3' to my light strip and now allows me to be able to connect to another 6.6' light strip and continue along the back wall. Using Google Home I can program them as one or set them to operate individually along the strip connections. Great addition to the Phillips Hue light family

I have a long row of cabinets (10 feet) in the kitchen. The Hue Lightstrip only come with 6 feet. I bought the Hue Lightstrip Plus extension strip to give me full coverage. The Hue Lightstrip are easy to extend. The website says up to 33 feet. I just plugged in the extra 3 feet and was done. It has a six prong plug that is easy to marry up the male end with the female end. As far as the light strip, it works perfect for early morning at the energizer setting to sunset setting for late evening. Pair it up with Philips Hue switch and app makes it perfect addition to my home. Only complaint is I would like to have the option to buy them in different lengths like 6 feet to even 10 feet.

Works just as great as the main unit. The lights are fantastic and controls work great with Alexa and Siri both. The only problem is the 3M sticky on the back which honestly sucks and doesn’t hold the strip as well as it should

If you are using the Philip Hue Lightstrips and need to extend them longer than the 6.6' size, the extensions are perfect. No additional outlets needed, they just attach to the 6.6' Hue Lightstrip and show up as a single Hue Lightstrip in the Hue app.

Phillips Hue makes some of the best LED bulbs out there. Probably the best "smart" LED bulbs on the market. Their lightstrips are no different. Great apps, great compatibility, easy to use. The biggest downside is that it is quite an initial investment to get a few of these in your house.

I needed an additional length of Hue LED lights for our pantry. This is the only product that would work, and it's fairly pricey... but it works! I didn't want to trust a cheap knockoff set from Amazon, so I went with the company that stands by their products. It's great that it works with Amazon Alexa!

Phillips Hue light strips are pretty good. Their color is excellent not like those cheap dime a dozen Chinese knock-offs. They work extremely well with Hue app with Google Home. They also play really nice with the Razer Chroma ecosystem. The plastic sheath act like a diffuser, for a nice bright glowing effect. Downsides are the premium you will over other LED light strips. And the adhesive backing is not that great.

It works great with the lightstrip, makes it longer and is a necessity if you want to have a longer section covered. The only reason I deducted 2 starts from this product is that the connection point with the lightstrip is very bad. If you barely touch it the lights the extension will disconnect or even worse, change to a completely different color. It took me about 30 plus minutes to install it, especially if you have it attached to something you will have problems connecting them. Other than the connection issues I do like the product once it is set up and working properly. On another note it is a bit expensive as are all other hue products.

My whole house is based on the Hue light system. Easy to use, great colors, long life, and just wow. If I had one complaint, guess I would say the price is a little expensive. Just as an additional FYI, I haven't had to replace any of my 30+ lights and accessories and some are 6 years old

Product is good works well! I am a little disappointed that the extensions are so short for the price or that there aren’t multiple length options available. Connecting the extensions are a bit tricky but that may just my age telling on me. Was easy to connect everything to the Home Network! Pricey and lack of length options are my only reason for not giving more stars. Product is easy to set up and works well with my other Hue products, Apple home kit and Alexia

Several weeks after installing them under my kitchen cabinets, these fell off, so I will have to reattach them with something else. Apparently the glue is not as strong. The other thing I was hoping to be able to buy, was a non-lit connector between two light strips. My kitchen cabinets are about a foot apart from each other, and I don't need lights there. It is actually kind of ugly and distasteful how these are hanging up in the air. It doesn't make any sense for something as simple as that to be missing from the market. If anyone has a suggestion how to resolve this, I am open. The third thing I am missing, is a simple on/off switch on the control box. If I don't have any automation, it would be nice to have it. For the money, something like this should have been included in my humble opinion. Other than that, everything else about these is great. The brightness is great - way better than what I expected. The software integration is excellent too. Alexa complements them beautifully.

Love Phillips hue products, this one included! We put this up in our closet where the track is for the doors (needed the extension as the closet covers one long wall) and it lets us see our dark closet so much better! Plus is creates great ambiance as we typically have it as different colors. We took down the drab sliding closet doors and put up curtains which the colored lights POP against. It looks great!

If you are thinking about living in a smarter house. Don't look any further than starting with hue lights. It is the most convenient way to turn off your lights when you are too lazy to get up and flip a switch. Don't be alarmed they are pricey but, it's worth it! These accent lights are a wow factor that everybody notices. I put the light strips on the back of my tv The only con I have for the light strips is that if it is not placed flat on the surface some circuits may use other colors than what is commanded.
