Nice looking great modern outdoor smart light that works great

Nice lighting option for my backyard, the build is pretty solid and it's a nice modern light. Wish it came with a color Hue bulb instead of the white-only.

I bought a pair of lamps, but unfortunately I wasn't able to install them due to electrical installation. Electrician is needed, is not like the other outdoor lamps, where you just connect and enjoy..

I used these lanterns to replace two existing porch lights. They look good and are an excellent value.

Beautiful, love the convenience. Industrial type look on the patio.

Had to wait for it to be in stock but worth the wait. Good build quality and modern design.

If you already invested in the Hue ecosystem these are great.

We have Hue lights inside and outside, integrated to Alexa, Logitech, and so on. I’m a nerd, so I have a slew of routines and IFTTT applets running on EVERYTHING. One is ‘Exterior’ that turns 8 different Hue lights on at sunset and off at sunrise, with custom Scenes. The Hue Lucca is nice, but white. The Econic is sturdier and is an ambiance light...full spectrum. Basically, everything in front is color, sides and backyard are white. During holidays and whenever I’m bored, I have 3rd party and ‘homemade’ routines for all the lights. Think Christmas light shows with music, but better. All in all, the Hue lights are fantastic. They are NOT inexpensive, so look for sales to add to your setup over time. A decent control app for when you’re lazy is OnSwitch for IOS. Don’t know if there’s an Android version, but I’d bet there is. Anyway, it’s good for simple things. NOTE: the app has things for sale. I don’t do that, but that’s up to you. The free ‘demo’ things are fine. There are a slew of free and paid tools to ‘play’ with your lights. Halloween is amazing...have crazy lights, soundtrack, and giant flying Grim Reaper; the kids loved it.

After reading a lot of reviews on this item I saw a mixture "too big" and "awesome"! I just wanted to add my vote to the awesome side, once I received it, it was a cinch to get set up and configured. It's not a big as everyone made it out to be, definitely larger than most but basically what it looks like in the pictures. I'm very happy with it and I'm excited to get to use it on our new deck!

I was disappointed with the quality of the housing, seems cheap and not very durable. You are better off buying a Hue Bulb and a different housing. FYI for those who did not pick it up in the description, there is nothing SMART about the lantern, it simply uses a Hue Smart Bulb.

Had to dock a star because I want to order another but seems to always be out of stock...
