This wireless, battery-operated outdoor sensor was easy to install on my back porch. It was also easy to link to the Philips-Hue bridge and App (and to Apple Home Kit). I created a simple automation in the App that turns on my floodlights and 2 indoor lights if motion is detected. It is easily adjustable. I'm glad I was able to add this to my home.

Bought 3 days ago. Love is so far. Bought this to turn on my Hue flood light in carport. What’s cool about this product that I didn’t know when I purchased it is that you can control 3 rooms of lights if you want. So now if someone comes to my door through the carport, My flood light/deck lights/Hue GO light(just inside my door) come on. This warns me of someone in my carport.

This is a great accessory if you have a Hue lighting system. I purchased this to put on the front of the house. I have it setup to turn on the outside house lights, which are all Hue, when it detects motion. Installation is simple, and setup in the Hue app is also pretty easy.

USe this to turn on my front lights when I get home. At first it was mounted above my doorway and found it to be sensitive enough to pick up traffic on the street 50 feet away if not more. If you are in a high traffic area this may not work well for you.

Easy to setup and works perfectly. My dog goes out at night and this sensor turns on the lights for her and turns off in 5 minutes after she’s back inside. I setup to receive notifications at night through Apple HomeKit in case there are activities in the area. Love it!

I use this outdoor motion detector in my garage paired with the hue 100w equivalent bulbs. I went with this outdoor version because I wanted the detector to avoid turning on the garage lights when the overhead doors are open and it is bright outside. This product works great for that scenario.

It adds motion sensitivity to my front yard. I used to keep a bulb in my porchlight that only came on in the evening and went off in the day. The problem was it attracted so many bugs. Now I have light only when needed. Much better. I may add some Hue lights to my garden with this.

While Philips Hue's products are expensive compared to other items, you can't deny their build quality and reliability can't be beat! This works well, reports reliably, and never has issues. I have it integrated with my Hubitat home automations, no issues there either.

I love all my motion sensors. The only problem with this one is that it is really sensitive, even on the lowest setting. I use it in my driveway and it picks up every car that drives by on the street. Kinda annoying. I wish it had a setting that would allow you to set the motion detection from the sensor. Like if I wanted it to go off when someone was 15 ft from it. Other than being super sensitive I like it.

This Hue light controller and motion sensor is a great addition to my home security system. It works flawlessly with the Hue lights I have installed. Having it on the eaves of the garage supplements my exterior security lights by turning on selected lights inside the house before the outside lights come on. Very nice.

I can never find the indoor motion sensor, so I use this to turn on the lights when I walk into my studio (which is pitch black until I walk past this. It has helped me to avoid stepping on my dogs, or random toys on the floor. Really handy when you are half asleep and have a hot cup of coffee in one hand.

This outdoor motion sensor works like a champ. Primarily using it to trigger some of my outdoor lights after my scheduled lighting is turned off. Lights come on quick once the motion is triggered. I really like this product and it works as advertised. Easy set up. Highly recommended.

This device has a much longer view than we expected. Using it on a front porch and we had to keep adjusting it so we wouldn’t pick up the motion of people walking on the sidewalk. Works really well.

My first outdoor motion detectors, but I've used indoor ones before. I integrate with Apple HomeKit and I find them to be very reliable. Not just a motion detector, but also a temperature gauge if you want it. Can be installed on corners as well as flat surfaces.

The sensor is very easy to connect to the rest of your hue devices. I have hue lights in my front door light, so whenever there is motion on the front porch after sunset (i.e. walking up to the door in the dark) the lights come on for me.

I love the flexibility this adds to the hue lighting. I have it on my patio and I t works wonderful. I also have it to trigger the inside lights at night when I’m home so people will move along to another house. Must have!

Fantastic and responsive. You can easily customize the settings in the hue app. I used 3m velcro stripes to hold it to the wall. It's light enough to work.

I was using an interior motion detector for my exterior HUE lights. It work ok but had a small range. This device is expressly designed to be weather safe and a larger sensor range. Works great.

Works exactly as intended. Probably one of my favorite features is how you can program its functionality based on the time of day and the amount of ambient light. And it can control multiple lights to have different responses to motion.
