I installed this on my porch, but had installed it too low at about knee level & didn't work as well, I sent a DM to Hue support & they suggested to raise it, so I did & works great. No more walking outside to the dark or coming home to a dark porch.

I set this up on the back porch since leaving the light on was attracting lots of bugs at night. Now the porch light just goes on when someone steps up on the back porch. It has worked without any problems. Kind of big and that is why I marked it down a star, they should have made it more like their indoor model, much more discreet.

Works seamlessly with my exterior hue lights and is a great way to avoid coming home to a dark driveway or home. As soon as I pull into the driveway the sensor activates my pathway and selected interior lights.

Works great with my Smartthings setup. To make it work in such a configuration, I chose to not pair with the Hue bridge but directly with Smartthings.

I brought them back as I found out nest cameras can control the lights via motion. Not Hues fault but when Google wiped away Hue accounts they took that functionally away, shame on you google! Yet they advertise that it does work

Bought to use above a kitchen door entrance that doesn’t get a ton of light. I’m going to install a couple Hue smart bulbs in the outdoor fixture and use the motion sensor to trigger them when you approach the door.

This sensor system is perfect for our home. You move I got you. It’s the best outdoor sensor I have ever owned. Phillips gets better and better.

Waited years for hue to launch outdoor sensor and this was worth the wait. Great sensitivity and solid battery life. Stayed reliably connected too

We’ve got this at the back door to turn on a group of calla bollards around the pool. It serves the purpose and turns them on with motion during a set time and turns them off after so long of no motion.

Pricey but worth it . Working great so far with even when linked it to non-Philips Hue light bulb using Alexa routine. Recommended

I didn’t realize this was for outdoor when I initially purchased it. Nevertheless, it has worked reliably in the loft of my condo since I installed it, and zero complaints!

These work great. BUT sometimes it has hiccups. Most time it works on que. They make the lights looks beautiful when they are activated. My husband love the new look.

I bought this to turn on my exterior Hue lighting setup to provide light for guests outside of my lighting schedule and to scare off anyone who is approaching my home for other reasons.

Easy to install, Easy to add to the Phillips Hue Bridge. Basically set it up and forget about it. Now when we drive up in the drive way all the outdoor lights come on.

Works great, very reliable. Appreciate all the ways it can be mounted. A little larger than I expected but not too bad.

Great outdoor motion sensor. Lots of great automation available with this and my Hue setup. Bonus features on the motion sensor is that they also double as a temperature sensor!

Make sure you buy the philips hue bridge before buying this product. They pick up motion extremely well. It can pick someone up from about 40 feet away

Purchased as a gift for a family member to extended the range of their current system. Setup to turn on indoor and outdoor Hue lights when they arrive home.

Best sensor to get if you want to stick to the hue ecosystem. Not the best value as there are other similar sensor out there that are cheaper and as capable. I ended up returning mine.
