EZ Setup and Installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took a few minutes to figure out the mounting bracket, but only one screw was necessary to hold it to the door frame. Finding it with the HUE app was very fast. Had to re-set the defaults to make it work properly, but now controls 9 lights when it sees activity then turns off three minutes later. Does what the door bell activity sensor couldn't. Bought a second one for my driveway security lights. Recommend!

The concept is good and I've had it for a while, yet not sure if it is working as designed. I'm still working on getting it to work properly. I've been trying to use Phillips online resources and YouTube. In due time, I will figure out how to get it to work properly for me. But the concept is good.

Not wonderful, but adequate

I will be looking at other offerings. Phillips products are very pricey, this one however, is very pricey given the performance.

However I am very disappointed you can't use the detectors as a trigger for customized IFTTT applets. Huge drawback that takes away two stars. Yoh can only use these detectors to trigger HUE lights. If you have a Samsumg smart things hub, you might want to look into their sensors so you can trigger multiple lighting and non lighting events.
