Easy to install and fast reaction to motion day and night

I used this to automatically brighten my Hue outdoor floods from 30% to 100% when motion is sensed. After 2 minutes the floods go back to 30%. I like the way the motion sensor integrates with the floods via the Hues app.

Worked great out of the box. Easy to set up and use to activate Hue floodlights.

Bought this to integrate into our Apple Home environment and to turn on exterior lights when we pulled in or someone walked up to the door.. works great! I'm anxious to see the battery life on this....

I use this with my smartthings system for turning on outdoor lights.

This is our second HUE light motion sensor. We installed under the roof eve to sensor movement near the exterior doors. It’s so nice to have light come on automatically rather than needing to turn them on and off.

I like the flexibility of location of sensor. For some reason I couldn’t update the firmware for it out of the box, the hue app said the sensor required a new battery. Shocking. I nearly returned it, but never got round to do so. Having done nothing to it at all since installation it eventually updated itself. No idea what that is about.

Good addition for my outside lights. Works as described. Recommended

Like all Philips Hue products this is a decent product they made with a price thats way to high. The quality doesn't support the price. The sensor works great and does exactly what its suppose to do, but I don't have any confidence it will last more than 1 year.

Love getting home to a house lite up. I programmed both the exterior lights and interior entry lights to turn on when I get home after dark. No more hunting for keys in the dark or walking into a pitch black house.

Perfect tool for my outdoor flood Hue lights. Took a little testing out to find the right place yo install and adjustments on the sensitivity to avoid false positive light turn on (for my back yard security).

Philips - Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor - Black And White Model:541730SKU:6326655 The light is effective with fairly high lumen-light output & options60 degree horizontal/80 degree vertical view angle. There somewhat limited mounting and light sensitivity positioning.

This sensor works well and you can set it up to turn on indoor and outdoor lights. You can have the lights stay on for a specified time and then revert to their original state. I highly recommend this sensor.

The motion sensor works good but do not like that you cannot set schedules to a certain time like the smartthings motion sensor.

I found it difficult to get this set up in a way that I wanted. I had to create a new group of the specific lights I wanted to control. It works, but it seems pricier than it should be and should be easier to set up.

I t saves me electricity because it only turns on when someone is passing by instead of the lights being on all night

Now I can set different lower light scenes outdoor and if motion is triggered the lights turn bright.
