Though the lumen for these bulbs are not as high as I would have expected, the shape of these bulbs allow them to provide brighter lighting when used in recessed ceiling light slots. I had A19 color changing lights in these areas before but was not getting enough lighting for reading and other requirements. These bulbs are slightly better than that. Wish the price goes down a little. Easy to program into and controlled by Alexa.

Nothing better than walking in the room and asking Alexa to turn the lights on in the room for you. She will even dim them if you want to make a mood for the room.

Bought several of these Philips Hue bulbs and easily integrated them into my Alexa network of smart devices. Have had no issues and like the dimming capability.

Great product! It is great to be able to control the lights on my phone when not home, and also to use it with my Amazon Echo to control them with my voice.

I added 4 of these to my kitchen, connected to the app and what a great product. you can run at 100% or turn them down so they fit whatever your doing.

I bought these bulbs because our home is not wired properly to use Smart switches. I get harsh zaps every time I tried to touch anything and was tired of it so now I use Smart lights at home to turn lights on and off. I like that I can set them for daylight or for a more standard soft white color. They work well and I am very pleased with them.

Purchased a bunch for a downstairs bathroom. Like all HUE it just works. I combined five of these in cans plus a movement sensor and it works great. It's nice to have the lights come on when you walk in the room. The variable brightness is also nice in that it can be set lower early in the morning and brighter later in the day.

I actually use this bulb outside to illuminate my front porch - don't worry, it is under cover and will never get wet.. I couple this bulb with the triggi app. Using the app, I set up conditions like: turn the bulb on 15 minutes prior to sunset or turn the bulb off 10 minutes prior to sunrise. Works well and I don't have to think about it - it just works...

The Philip Hue lights are a must have. Just buy a couple each pay check. I am up to 32 lights and two are the colored lights.

Put a couple of these in my media room and now I have theater lighting without a major cost. Easy to install, works great

Theses bulbs have made going to bed and getting up at my house super easy. We control them with apple home kit and siri!

The Hue floodlights are amazing in our kitchen! Having Alexa turn them off and on makes our home seem futuristic.

Im not sure how long these ridiculously expensive bulbs will last, but im in love! I bought these to accompany my echo plus (hub) to turn on the lights without having to flick the switch. how lazy am I? it works great and the setup was super ez. I didn't buy the warranty on the bulbs b/c it was only for 2 years and im hoping they will last longer then that; however, when the bulb fell out of my hand from 5 feet up and hit the ground I wished I had! NOTE: it didn't break and it still works so maybe it was worth $25.

These smart bulbs work great at home or away. The dim feature is also very nice. You can't go wrong with these.

Tried the starter kit to control lights on/off while on vacation. Have bought about ten more bulbs since.

I love the HUE system and these white bulbs are great but it turns out my preference is the color bulb. These white ones are half the price so I thought I'd start with these because I didn't know if I'd actually use the color function of the color bulbs. I mean who wants bright blue or green lighting? Turns out I much prefer the color bulbs because the vast array of subtle colors really do make a difference in the atmosphere of my home. So just depends on your preference and price point.

All of our living room and bedroom lights are Philips Hue bulbs. These bulbs give us control that we wouldn't otherwise have. These flood bulbs are in the ceiling on a single circuit. No dimmer. With the Hue app, we can control each bulb individually, having different bulbs on and controlling the brightness. Together with the other Hue bulbs in the room, we have created scenes for different occassions - reading, watching TV, entertaining, etc. We can also control them using our Amazon Echo. We have also created Routines that allow us to set different scenes in each room using a single verbal command. "Alexa, good night" turns off all living room lights and turns on two bedroom lights at half brightness.

I love these bulbs and the ease of use through the app. I am changing out all my bulbs to Hue. I hope the price comes down soon. I also have the colored bulbs. I use the ambient lights in my office. The best feature is the ability to control the lights with the Amazon Echo!
