Replaced our foyer flood light with this Hue BR30. The various colors are so beautiful just in time for the holidays. I’ll be buying more to replaced my kitchen flood lights.

The set up was a bit tricky as I had initially purchased the wrong bulb for my lamp but now It works extremely well with Echo, Alexa changes Hue to any color you ask for!

If you're in need of some down facing color changing lights then you are in luck. As long as you have a HUE Hub you are in luck. Very bright, and worth every penny.

I originally bought these for a downstairs movie room but after I moved they ended up in my kitchen. If you want the full color control, these are the way to go. I love to setup scenes for specific holidays to use when I have company over. If you're gawking a bit at the price, then I would say try to mix them with some of the ambiance variety depending on your light fixture setup.

This is the 3rd generation of the BR30 lights. The colors are more rich in the blue and green range than the previous 2nd generation. I am very happy with these.

These are just amazing yes there is a bit of an investment but it is well worth the investment the lights change the atmosphere as you can create are endless

This bulb is way brighter and more vibrant than the first generation bulb. The green actually looks green instead of yellow. I highly recommend it.

Excellent investment It takes literally minutes to hook up couldn't be any easier it's actually wild great gadget if you're into gadgets I've actually hooked up 10 of them in my high hats you could work them individually or together it's really wild like 1 million combination colors if you're into fun stuff and text stuff get it

I now have 19 Hue lights and like that there are so many color options. I also like that I’m able to change light scenes while away from home.

The Hue flood lights work just as good as the rest of Philip's lights! Plenty bright and easy home control! Works awesome with a Google home!

I was a little concerned at first of WIFI receptivity as I placed these in semi-recessed receptacles over a fireplace. But no problem as they connected quickly with Hue bridge and Alexa. I tested receptivity with other non-flood Hue lights first. Phillips puts some caution note on packaging about recessed lights but my environment worked out fine. With that said I'll add: "Mileage may vary, Past Performance does not guarantee future results, etc.". Wife and kids wanted a red/green fireplace theme for Christmas.

I enjoy the ability to dim the lights with my voice (using Alexa Echo Dot) and to change the colors. It's a little pricey for the color bulbs, but worth it in the family room.

This generation bulb is a huge improvement over the original. Wider range of light, it's a little brighter, and better color range.

Wanted to make my home for festive for the holidays so I put in an exterior porch light. Also change it to blue for the Seahawks!

Like the 3rd gen A19 Bulbs, these are much better at producing a full range of colors than their predecessors. As a spotlight though, I would like them to be bit brighter. As such, I think I am just going to use these seasonally with my Halloween and Christmas decorations.

These bulbs work great in my existing recessed lighting. Now the entire room can be light with whatever color scheme we choose.

no downside. per bulb cost is high, but energy savings and lifetime value incredible. totally changes the dynamics of a house.
