Use these instead of my current light switches in my apartment. Put switch guards on the existing switches to prevent guests from disconnecting power to the hue bulbs.

I have an echo dot to control my lights by voice. However, guests will not understand the commands. This makes this a must have to simplify basic use for your guests.

This was my third purchase of a Hue Wireless Dimmer Switch with Remote. Set up and use could not be simpler. It offers great flexibility in use of your Hue lights.

The dimmer switch was easy and quick to setup! It's a perfect partner for a hue system/room, but I would only recommend it if you have 4 or more lights, that are in the same room.

This switch is functional. That is the most important thing to note. I also have a Philips Hue Tap and this switch is just better. It's easier to mount. It's just as easy to program and, as it turns out, much more intuitive. Compared to the Tap, this works! No priming required. The dimming capabilities are much adored and the fact that I don't have to explain how the things works to anyone is a huge plus.

I love this switch remote. I used to have to go upstairs to get my phone if I forgot to bring it with me downstairs. Now I just grab the remote switch and control all my lights.

This switch has made my life easier, as controlling the dimming from within the app isn't always convenient. Being to control multiple lights together is a nice feature too.

I had no idea how easy these were to use with the Hue lights. My wife was not thrilled with having to use an app or voice for the lights. I put switch guard over the existing wires light switches & mounted these to the wall where I wanted. Super convenient! Especially with the remote. Easy to set up & configure various settings. Highly, highly recommend!

This is a great addition to the Phillips Hue lighting options. Very useful as this does not require any electrical wiring to work Hue bulbs. The base plate has two small magnets located on back or use stick up strips to mount anywhere. The switch component then may be removed if you would like to use as hand held remote next to you or just keep it in the face plate. The switch has On, Off, Dimmer Up and Dimmer Down. Works great as an additional remote for the Philips Hue A19 LED DIMMER KIT, which by the way does not require the HUE Bridge to work. Note, the bridge does provide a much more enhanced usage for Alexa, Google Assistant, etc., but not necessary especially for individuals who are not going for high tech home automation solutions. We use the Philips Hue A19 LED Dimmer Kit in one room and use the existing light dimmer switch in that kit to control the light in that room, while in the room. We purchased the additional dimmer remote switch to place at the front of the home. It enables us to turn on the light in the back room before walking down a long hallway and avoid walking into the dark room at the back of the home. We had to pair with the bulb and existing remote in the room at the back of the home, but once that was done – it works great.

These are great. And easy to customize when you program them in the Hue app. Better yet, program it with iConnectHue. Way more features. Also, you’ll want to fit these over your standard switch plates. That way, people will stop turning off your lights, (which of course renders your Hue lights completely useless, as far as “smart” lights are concerned). Get on Etsy and find the guy selling Philips Hue stealth dimmer switch magnetic cover plates. They fit snug over your standard wall plates, allowing the main switch to remain in the ON position. You fasten your Hue dimmer switch plate over the one from Etsy using one of the small magnets you’ll have left over from purchasing the Hue dimmer switch here on this page.

This switch fits into that annoying gap with the Hue ecosystem that requires constant power to all Hue lights. Sometimes I just don't have my phone within reach and I need the traditional option of just walking by the wall and turning off the lights. This simply works and for about 1/2 the cost of the Tap switch. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out you could cycle through up to 5 different scenes with each press, programmed to your needs. My only wish was that this could be installed over an existing switch like the Lutron remote mount option. This would avoid the confusion of still having a switch in the wall that you can't touch without messing up your lights.

Takes minutes to set up, you can program the different color & brightness for the preset option by pressing the on button multiple times. Love that it's also a like a remote. Have about 4 total remotes & I believe you can set up as a 3way switch which is awesome if you have old bx wiring that you can't run new or replace wiring thru conduit.

When I installed this (which is VERY easy by the way), I was never more happy to rely on a button. It changes to different light/mood settings and it turns off ANY hue bulb that you set it up for! I have bought one for my entrance to replace the light switch, one next to my bed and one at my desk! It is so convenient.

This remote is good if you don’t have Alexa or if your like me waiting for the Apple home pod You can setup in seconds and control what you want

Purchased for elderly mother-in-law who is not as technical as the rest of my family. It paired seamlessly to my Hue White in the kitchen, and now she can turn it on/off as well as dim without a mobile device or Alexa. The magnetic back to the housing sticks wonderfully to the fridge and is easily accessible. Great accessory and strongly encouraged addition to the smart light network.

I purchased this switch so that my less tech-savvy roommates can turn the lights off an on with a switch, like they're used to. It's been exactly what I needed. It hasn't failed to perform the actions I've configured at all. My roommates are happy they don't have to talk to Google to turn the lights on and off. I have no complaints.

This little amazing light switch really is a fantastic idea. Once setup, which is easy as easy can be. A user can dim their HUE lights, or turn them on/off.

I love this switch! I have two of them now, one in the den that controls the lights and one one the side of my nightstand to turn the bedroom lights on and off. This is far more convenient than using the cellphone app or Alexa. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey.

I bought this dimmer switch to control the hue lighting I installed on my living room fans. It works exactly as expected. The buttons are very easy to use and very responsive, even from a distance from the base station. The magnetic wall mount works very well at holding the remote and was easy to mount. Definitely would recommend this product!

I've had Hue bulbs throughout my house for a couple of years. For some reason I never considered the dimmer, figured it was unnecessary. I'm kicking myself for not buying this sooner. It dims and brighens but you can also choose 5 different scenes. It's so much better than using the app or screaming at Alexa. Totally recommend this
