Customers highly value the Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 for its overall performance, ease of use, and long battery life. The shaver's ergonomic design and included accessories are also appreciated. However, some customers have noted that the shaver may snag on longer hairs. The charging speed is also a positive feature for users.

This electric shaver is pretty smooth, has various options, and does its job for the most part. It does still have what most women's electric shavers have going on which is a big promise that it's different, but then we realize its kinda the same. Here are some pros and cons: PROs - The shaver is not harsh at all - It can be used both wet and dry - It comes with a small brush used for cleaning the razor (this is useful!) - Also comes with exfoliating gloves (these increase shaving quality) CONs - Hair often sticks to the plastic so you need to run it under fast water to clean - The facial shaver piece isnt as effective as just a razor (it helps with peach fuzz though) The efficiency cap, at least for me, is not helpful. I don't use it at all as it seems to only stop me from getting a closer shave. Otherwise, the shaver pretty much does what it's supposed to do, I just didn't find it to be anything special or unique about it. It is smooth and worth the price tag though. - It needs at least 3 passes to get all the hair - It isn't as close as I'd like; often leaves stubble

So far, this Philips Lady Electric Shaver has been a mixed bag. It works really well when trimming longer hair around the bikini area. It makes trimming so much easier than manual methods and razors. Where the trimmer lacks, at least for me, is in shaving armpits and legs. Without the included skin stretcher cap, it takes multiple runs over my skin to get all of the hairs short enough to consider a shave. With the skin stretcher cap, shaving takes fewer strokes, but still does not get all the hairs shaved easily. I've tried this wet and dry and the results have not varied. I do have very fine, blond leg hair, so this may be part of the issue. Also, this is my first time using an electric shaver on my legs instead of a razor so I may need to adjust my expectations, but so far this shaver takes much longer than a regular razor. The positives of shaving with this razor: razor burn and irritation are non-existent and there are not nicks or cuts from slipping, distractions, or going too fast. If you're looking for an electric shaver for women, make sure you know that this unit will not shave as close as razor. Overall, it does a decent job, but takes longer than I'm used to.

    Lovely Shaver by Philips

I picked up Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 for my wife as a gift. She has been using razors and I knew there is something out there that will be as awesome as a regular razor. This set comes with a trimming comb, head with comb, skin stretched cap, soft glide cap, cleaning brush, exfoliation glove, pouch, and USB-A charging cord. Here are a few pros after I have consulted with my wife who used it for about two weeks now: 1. Easy to use, its design and build are excellent. 2. Your woman can use it in a dry setting or in a shower (more on it later). 3. It is lightweight and cordless. 4. It is pretty easy to clean and recharges quickly as well as it maintains its charge for a long time (about 40 minutes) as well. Now as far as the results, I can attest that it leaves the skin smooth and silky. I cannot say it will replace the good ole razor, however it is pretty close. Thankfully, no nicks or cuts. I would suggest that your loved one use it in a shower, although the dry application is fine, just make sure to use some lotion for a smoother application and better results. I think it was a good gift and will be perfect for our travels and camping and at home use.

I have tried several electric shavers for women that claim to be the best one but usually tend to fall short. This one pleasantly surprised me. It’s a pretty simple and uncomplicated device offering several options with multiple attachments to help reach virtually any grooming needs you may have. It’s lightweight body and its shape makes it comfortable to hold in your hand while also easy to maneuver. The ability to use it wet or dry is also convenient. The exfoliation glove was actually a great addition that I thought I wouldn’t have a need for. The battery life after full charge is more than adequate for my needs and seems to be pretty accurate with the up to 40 minutes of life claim. And most importantly for me and anyone with sensitive skin, its claims of being gentle are more than just words. I was able to use each head with absolutely no irritation to my skin which is huge for me. The skin stretcher cap is a huge plus for those tricky areas where you want a closer shave but need to get the skin taut. Overall, it’s a great option without all the frills a more complex option may have.

I'll admit its been a few years since I used an electric razor. I used to use one all the time, but found a manual one I really liked and have been using it instead. I used to have really sensitive skin on my legs and razor burn was a frequent problem. My skin has toughened up over the years, but I've developed another issue that keeps sending me back and forth between a couple different doctors. My skin will break out in tiny rashes. These rashes mimic a bad cut, such as one that (haha!) I got from my razor, or maybe a sharp object, but these are random breakouts that are not caused by injury, and are very small. However, it adds a whole new level of difficulty when shaving. Enter the Philips Lady Electric Shaver Series 6000 razor. I forgot how much more gentle an electric razor is on my skin over a manual one. Every woman has a different tolerance with any razor, so results may vary, but I believe an electric razor like this one can reduce this problem for most, especially if you have any other skin issues. EXPERIENCE The Lady Electric Shaver includes multiple pieces in the package, including a couple different trimming combs, along with the skin stretcher cap and soft glide cap. - Trimming combs are exactly what they say - a comb-link attachment that helps trim longer hairs. - For general leg, underarm, and arm shaving, the skin stretcher cap and soft glide cap are nice add-ons. Think of them like razor guides, not because they are controlling the direction of the razor, but are providing additional surface for the razor, which smooths and flattens the skin to help it catch more of the hairs. I particularly liked the skin stretcher cap. It has a extra "arm" (only way I know to describe it) on the plastic attachment that extends beyond the surface of the razor head. Held at the correct angle, it stretches the skin so there is a larger flat surface for the razor to pass over, requiring fewer passes in those tricky areas. This, along with the soft glide cap, are easy to attach and remove, making it easy to swap them in the middle of shaving. I did find that they did not fit on the razor head as tightly as I would have liked, and a couple of times they tried to detach, although I believe it was due to the angle I was holding the razor that caused me to put more pressure on the attachment than the razor itself. I have very fine hair, so in using this razor, I had to go over some areas multiple times, but this is to be expected in my case, especially if you shave frequently, say, daily. I tried this both before and after showering, and I found that after showering gave me the best results. I don't like to shave in the shower with an electric razor as, again, my hair is fine and it just makes it harder to get good results. Overall though, using the skin stretcher cap and soft glide cap gave me extremely smooth skin, possibly more than a manual razor, and possibly because my skin was not overreacting to the harshness of a manual blade. It does take me a little longer using this, but since I'm not in the shower, the water isn't running, so my showers are quicker. It's also important not to move the razor too quickly, but also not to hold it in one place (as per Philips' guide). I found slow, straight strokes at about 2 inch per second was a good pace. Also included with this set is an exfoliating glove and drawstring tote bag to hold everything together. The exfoliating glove is rough, like a very rough luffa, but that's part of how it does its job, helping to prep the skin before shaving. I did use this, but very gently and trying not to pass over the same region more than once to avoid irritation. BATTERY OPERATION This razor is cordless, battery operated, and is safe to use wet or dry, although dry is recommended for a better shave. It has a 2-prong connector for the power cable, but the cable plugs into a USB port, which may not be readily available in a bathroom. I had to charge it in my bedroom with a surge protector that had USB ports. Philips states that a 10-hour charge will yield 40 minutes of run time. The one bad thing is that I charged this razor for much longer than 10 hours, and the little white light never went out, which seems to be confirmed by the instructions. In other words, there is no visual on the razor that says it's fully charged. There is also no battery life indicator, so you have no way of knowing when it's getting low. I found that even with the issues I have with my skin and that it takes me longer than a manual razor, my shave time was between 5 to 7 minutes, so after fully charging, I should be able to get through the week and then charge it over the weekend. CONCLUSION Whether you prefer an electric shaver, or just want to be able to shave outside of the shower, this is fantastic electric razor that includes attachments to handle legs, arms, underarms, and intimate areas. It has lots of attachments to help with the job, and a tote bag to keep it together and make it easy to travel with. It does a great job without a lot of effort and is generally more gentle on your skin, so razor-burn-prone ladies, this is the razor you want!

Got this for my girlfriend for her birthday and she is absolutely loving it! Shave is very close to an actual razor and she doesn’t get anymore of those pesky razor bumps. 10/10 would recommend!

I was super excited to try my new Philips electric shaver. I tend to shave my legs on an infrequent basis because it’s just so darn time-consuming and I don’t tend to wear skirts. But if this worked, I’d practically look forward to it so at least my legs looked smooth and pretty for myself. My plan was to start with the pubic hair trimmer and see how that went. All I can say is OUCH. It pulled and tugged on the hairs and didn’t manage to do all that much. It wasn’t severely painful or anything, but it most definitely wasn’t comfortable. A pair of scissors works much more efficiently. After that debacle, I changed the attachment to the skin shaver and began on my legs. Although it certainly does shave the hair it simply leaves rows of stubble that are basically what I would have after shaving with a regular razor and then waiting a few days for the hair to begin growing back. In other words, it’s terrible. It doesn’t do what you need it to do. The one positive thing I can say is that the hair—even the longer pubic kind—clears out easily under a stream of water. I also liked that I could use it in the shower. But since it doesn’t really work effectively as a replacement for a mechanical razor, there is no point praising its positives. I will not be using the device again for anything.
