My previous razor was Phillips Norelco Architech that I had for 12 Years (I couldn't afford the replacement blades anymore) and it still works. I have been using this razor for about six weeks now and it is very quiet, gives a nice close shave, and the charge lasts about 3 weeks based on my daily usage. I like the wet dry feature with this razor, which I did not have with my Architech. It is also very easy to clean. Very happy.

Excellent shave for the money. My last razor I paid $200+ for and it was great for 3-4 years. I use an electric razor as a "pre-shaver". I shave every few days and shave with an electric first and then a normal razor. I dropped my old razor and it broke the head. Instead of paying $80 for new heads, I bought this razor. The shave is very close and this razor works as good as the one before.

This razor gives me the closest most comfortable shave I have ever had from an electric razor. 5 stars is not enough stars for this razor. Plus the trimming attachment works wonderfully too. Only thing I can say bad about this razor is that the plastic trimmer guide cover feels like i might break it taking it off to expose the close up trimmer blade. I love this razor.

Unfortunately I'm under the impression the higher in price you pay the better the razor. This is a good razor but I was hoping for better. I just might be expecting miracles imo. I'd definitely recommend this razor even though I have my ridiculous reasons for wanting something better. Money is an issue with me.

just so you'll know... The "smooth glide" feature of this shaver doesn't really amount to anything you can notice. It doesn't reduce drag against your skin any less than any other shaver, to be honest. The "reduced speed" button that this shaver has (for your neck area, etc.), isn't needed, and produces no benefit that I can detect. However, this shaver has given me the closest shave so far, that I have experienced, when comparing it to other Norelco's with the exact same looking heads... *Also....... this is important: removing the "top portion" (the heads themselves) , of the shaver head from the shaver head unit, (for cleaning), is tough... it doesn't separate easily. You can remedy this ( for the next time) - by placing a drop of mineral oil on its connection points, before snapping it back in place. So, the next time you try to remove that top portion - that baby should separate with almost no effort. Hope this helps. PS: I'm not really Mel Torme [ :

This razor is easy on you skin. Their is no pulling feeling as you save. Just smoothe cutting with no irritation. The trimmer attachment is a step above the rest. It obviously has plenty of power as it does not slow or bog down even when cutting through or trimming a thick beard.

I am very pleased with my new Norelco electric razor. I have used Norelco razors for over 30 years now. This is my first with the new design. It cuts well and is easy to clean, so I am very happy. I appreciate the charging stand as well as the great storage case for when I travel that came with it.

I bought this for my husband. This is a great razor. He really likes it a lot. It gives him a very close and comfortable shave. It charges quickly. We both recommend this electric razor.

This is a great product. I was looking for something for a close shave but actually I found it's best use in cutting my own hair. The trimming attachment is very helpful in cutting. I tried the wet cutting, it's fine but I still prefer to use razor blades for convenience.

I have been a Norelco owner ever since I was old enough to shave, my last one I had for 15 years , I switched to another brand because of referral from a friend, I returned it in 2 days, and went back to Best Buy and bought a norelco Razor and it has been the best shave I ever had.

This is the first electric shaver I have tried since buying one back in 1974. Compared to the one I tried in 1974 this is one is great. The salesman said I should try this for 45 days which was also reflected in the instructions. So far it is doing a good job.

This is my first wet/dry shaver. I purchased this to shave my head. This has two speed modes and to shave your head or in my case because I have sensitive skin, you'd select the slower speed. I still get smaller bumps, I'm not sure if that's just my sensitive skin or if the blades are cutting the hair under my skin, but this works very well. I've found out it works better for me if I shave my head daily. It takes longer to shave off longer hair, even if we're talking quarter inches. I've only used it on my head, when I tried it on my face, i'm just used to a razor. Excellent purchase for a head shaver.
