When I use shaver it does it fine job. I have no problem to use it on the go.

Great for someone starting to use an electric shaver

I started using a different model Norelco last year that I like and thought I'd give this new model a try. I definitely like it better so far. For one thing, the rotary heads are slightly larger so it shaves quite a bit faster now which is great. The thing I hate most about shaving is the time it takes, so this has been the biggest advantage for me over shaving with a razor and shaving cream. Now that I have this model, I've completely switched over to using it instead of the traditional razor at all. Here are some of the features I like about the 6900: --It comes with a nice case and charging stand --It's super easy to rinse out after use and then snap back together after it's dry --The battery lasts a long time; I easily go a week between charges --It's fairly quiet --It gives a decent, close shave --The beard trimmer is easy to swap out, and it does a good job trimming my goatee and keeping sideburns tidy

The Phillips Norleco electric shaver is a great device. The trimmer attachment has 4 different size settings that makes it perfect for personal grooming. Using the trimmer attachment takes some time to get used to it though. It needs you to hold the shaver in a certain angel / direction.

Definitely one of the best shaver I have ever bought.

I have been using electric shavers for over 20 years, and the pinnacle of shavers in my opinion has always been Norelco and now Philips Norelco. I have been using electric shavers for so long that I forget it takes some getting used to for folks that are new to using them, but whether you are a veteran electric shaver user or a noob, you cant go wrong with the 6900. Its quiet, the charge lasts a long time and you can use both wet and dry (I always use dry) and you can keep it clean by just running under some water. The shave is close, and you can just pop off the three heads and pop on the trimmer attachment to trim your beard to 5 different length settings if you so choose. The 6900 comes with a charging base and a carrying case for travel and is very light. The 6900 will give you a high quality shave in a light versatile package, you wont be disappointed.

I purchased for my father-in-law. He only wants the rotary head unit. His care givers use this on him and not only does it work it will last several years of no cleaning and abuse (caregivers do not take care of it, this is my 3rd purchase).

I'VE OWN DIFFERENT MODELS OVER THE YEARS.THIS IS THE BEST ONE EVER.BLADES HAVE NO PLASTIC COVER FOR PROTECTION AND IS NOT AVAILABLE OR MADE . THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE TRIMMER IS KIND OF AKWARD TO USE.

I was hesitant at first to purchase this product. I was never very successful with with this brand, but it met my price point. I was pleased to be surprised at how functional, and we'll crafted it is made. Highly recommend.

I bought two of these razors as holiday gifts. One person is very satisfied with it. The second person hates it. He says it takes forever to shave, and is an unpleasant experience. So the end result is that one of these is being kept and the other is being returned. Totally opposite opinions.... However, both men agree that the quality is fine. One person would give it five stars, and the other would give it only 1, so we averaged to give it three stars. (A star rate is required).

Ive been using the same Norelco electric shaver for about 20 years now. So was curious to see how much they have changed since and what I could get out of a long overdue upgrade. First big change is that its cordless. No more plugging it in every time I have to use it. Wasn't sure about switching to a battery based electric shaver but so far so good. Ive used it a bunch of times and still haven't had to recharge from the original first charge. It has a non intrusive battery indicator light on it as well to tell you the charge level. The charger gives you two different options. You can plug directly in or use an included base to charge it. It supports dry and wet shave. I always dry shave so this review is based on that. I didn't notice a huge difference in the actual shaving. It took just as long as my old one and did just as good of a job. I still have to go over spots on my face/neck multiple times to get a truly clean shave. On the plus side it is quieter, has a better grip, and I like that the three blades can adjust to the curvature of my face and neck. For cleaning you can still take the head apart and even rinse it off under water. The added travel case is a plus for us on the go. Also it has a travel lock so it doesn't turn on in your bag and kill the battery. I find the beard trimmer a bit awkward the way it sticks out but it does do a good job. It has five different adjustments built in so you don't have to switch out extensions. I'm still getting use to not having to switch back and forth between two different devices to do a beard trim and a clean neck trim. Having all that in one device is pretty cool. I do see this as an upgrade and it has gone into full rotation replacing my old electric shaver. Its good to see that Norelco still makes a great shaver.
