Great Christmas gift for my husband. He uses it everyday and no more cuts with the traditional razor.

Took me a little bit to figure it out, but I love it. It has replaced a previous Norelco shaver many many years old. Hint: you have to press the 'on' button firmly and for a full second for it to turn on.

I love the rolling heads that allow the shaver to adapt to the curvature of my face. Also the color lighted heads help me know exactly how much pressure to use to the heads during each shave.

The Philips Norelco - 9500 Rechargeable Wet/Dry Electric Shaver is one of the best shaver that I have ever used.

Excellent razor. The charge can go quick, like 2 weeks but it charges quickly.

I am very happy with everything there is about this electric shaver. It did take a little while to "get used to it" but I am very pleased with all that is does and more.

I've been using the Phillips razor series for over 30 years and this is by far the best electric razor I've ever owned.

I like it but the only problem when it is new it's great but after 9 month you need to change the blades

The head seems bulky and a bit awkward for trimming close to my ears. Otherwise nice features.

Unboxing the Philips 9500 Wet/Dry Shaver you’ll find the shaver itself, charger, cleaning pod, cleaning cartridge, cleaning brush, zipper pouch, and documentation. The shaver body is mostly plastic construction with a soft-touch rubberized grip around the sides and back, which feels good in hand. The 2 buttons on the front, Power and Menu, are both plastic as well. The Power button has an appropriate amount of resistance while the Menu button is, personally, a bit too firm. The display is bright and legible. As far as basic performance goes, the shaver operates very well. The shave is close and comfortable and operation is quiet. The main head and individual cutting heads articulate nicely, helping to keep good contact with your face. Also, the trimmer, which only engages when deployed, is a bit louder but not obnoxiously so, and cuts wells. Battery life seems sufficient enough that you could potentially go a week between charges. Unfortunately, like many other modern shavers, the unit cannot be used in a corded fashion, so do watch your charge. Beyond basic operation, the shaver is a bit more complex than necessary. Menu navigation and iconography is not intuitive. The pressure sensor is nice and operates well, but the Motion Control Feedback just seems unnecessary. Also, like several other Philips personal care appliances, I really just don’t need Bluetooth in my shaver. Cleaning the shaver is fast and easy. The shaver rests upside in the Quick Clean pod and cycles the cleaning fluid through the heads. The result keeps the heads clean and lubricated, prolonging their life. Replacement heads must be new as I was unable to find them available online at the point of writing this review so we have yet to see about their replacement cost. Replacement cleaning pods are reasonably priced at several online outlets. Overall, the Philips 9500 is a good performing shaver that may have a few too many bells and whistles for some people.

Razor sharp. I use it even to cut my hair and it does an excellent job that I don’t need to clean up with a sharp razor

High end shaver from Philips/Norelco that works very well. I have a light beard so I don’t put heavy demands on this unit. I have owned many of these triple head razors over the years. These are the only ones that work for me. I clean them after every use and I expect long life out of ths razor.
