Things machine rocks, for it compacts size. Lots of add on and strong motor.

Its engine is not so strong but works OK. It's bad at to cut hair sideburns. And be very very careful while using body apparatus. It's not so well. You might harm your testicals. As results it has avarage performance according to its price.

I've been using this ER as my daily razor and it's been working just as it has to. Nothing special or too impressive on it. If you're looking for a clean cut, this item won't be what you need. It left your beard from 1 to 2 mm size

so originally I got this in hopes of using it as a multi purpose trimmer. Unfortunately the hair clipper piece is missing so I can't attach any of the guards so this purchase has merely been a no guard trimmer mostly, which is what I mostly had. 2 months later I can no longer return or anything.

Good for face but not good for the body especially back of legs etc. Cut me up

Clippers do not cut close enough for the clean shave i need for best appearance.

I am really excited about my new trimmer and all of its’ functionality. The Phillips Norelco Multigroom 5000 all-in-one trimmer is the trimmer I have been waiting for, for years. This trimmer can be used by just about anyone, male or female regardless of race. It is an all purpose, all in one trimmer for everyone in the entire family. It’s a trimmer for all of us! The Phillips Norelco Multigroom 5000 All-in-one trimmer (I’ll reference it as Multigroom 5000 trimmer for short) appears to be a product developed out of good quality focus groups and consumer feedback. This trimmer checks a lot of boxes for me and I’m sure it will for many others as well. The Multigroom 5000 trimmer arrived to my home well packaged with everything secure in place and nothing was damaged. There was very little wasted space. Everything was easy to find. The trimmer looked to be made of good quality material and is built to last. It feels good in hand, and has a great ergonomic grip. The trimmer comes with three trimmers that come in extra wide, medium and precision steel trimmer. Do not underestimate the precision trimmer. It’s small and works perfectly. I wish I knew about it years ago. It’s prefect for small, hard to reach areas, like under your nose. The Multigroom 5000 trimmer has a long lasting battery, which lasts up to almost three hours, 2.8 hours, and it also has a battery indicator light on the device so that you’ll know how much power you have left before needing to recharge it. It only takes a little over an hour to charge, approximately 70 minutes, and you can get a quick charge in five minutes when you need to get things down quickly but don’t have enough time to wait for it to reach a full charge. The Trimmer comes with 18 tools and accessories that can be used for the entire body and they also provide a nice little convenient carrying bag to store all of the accessories, and the trimmer can fit in the bag as well, if you choose to do so. I’ve been using the Multigroom 5000 for the past 5 days or so. In those days I’ve used almost all of the attachments to gage how effective they are and if they’d meet my needs. The answer to that question is absolutely yes they do. I haven’t been able to shave more than twice in that time frame because my shave was so close to bald that it hasn’t grown back long enough to warrant another shave. The Multigroom 5000 shaves just about as close to bald as you can get without using a razor. I was also able to get a close shave without any nicks or cuts. I was able to successfully use the Multigroom 5000 for a total body shave. The Multigroom 5000 is a great trimmer for beginners and experienced shavers. The instructions are well-written in plain language which is informative and easy to understand. The drawing illustrations are a great reference point for each time you use the trimmer. The trimmer guards and blades are clearly marked and the various colors of gray and black helps eliminate which guard should be used with which blade and for what intended purpose; they have 11 length settings. I think it won’t be long before I memorize which of the 18 attachments/assessors goes with which and for the intended purpose. It’s ease of use allows me to remove and replace attachments quickly without fuss. A simple push, lift and pull and the attachment is off and you’re ready to put on a new one. As I mentioned earlier, the trimmer is lightweight and the ergonomic grip feels good in hand. I felt no fatigue when using it and had more than enough power for a full “head to toe” shave and only used a fraction of the stored rechargeable battery life. The Multigroom 5000 trimmer has self-sharpening blades and they are maintenance free and requires no oil. The blades are easy to clean as you only need to place them right under the water to wash them clean. Although the Multigroom 5000 came with a lot of accessories, I didn’t like that it didn’t come with a charging adapter and it has a rather short charging cord. I do have other adapters from other assessors that I can use with the trimmer, but the charging cord is rare and appears to be proprietary. The charging cord should be at least a couple feet as you would want to charge your device further away from water as possible and you may primarily use your device in the bathroom and near or even with water, but it’s only a few inches long. In closing, there’s a reason why Phillips is the number one brand in America for electric shave and grooming devices. The Phillips Norelco Multigroomer 5000 does it all and then some. It comes with a 45-day money back guarantee, but I’m sure you won’t be returning it as it works as described. It’s simply the best trimmer I’ve owned to date. The Multigroom 5000 trimmer has made my life a lot easier. I no longer dread the shaving process. It is an all purpose, all in one trimmer for everyone in the entire family. It’s a trimmer for all of us!

If you want a quality trimmer that does an excellent job, this isn’t the one. Usually have to go over and over it to make sure hairs aren’t missed.

For the price this is a pretty great little electric trimmer, feels durable and reliable, it's compact and full of accessories, also comes with a nice little bag to store everything in and the battery life seems to be decent so far. The unit gives you a nice close shave, expect a little stubble, more of a trimer than a shaver so this is understandable, it's actually better than most trimmers I have used in the past. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable little kit to have in their bathroom or for travel. Pros: 4 different heads (nose trimmer, mustache, hair & a wider hair) that quickly and easily switch out, also includes a large amount of guards (some are for the larger head and some for the smaller head) 1 of which has a slider to adjust level, which I find to be unique. It's also very nice that the heads can be rinsed off, which makes clean up quick and easy. Cons: Nothing too much to complain about here, the device doesn't come with a power supply rather just a usb power cord, but who doesn't have a usb charger box now a days with your phone etc, so not that big of a deal. I also find the power button placement is not where I would prefer it to be, the button is nice and simple to use, but the way I hold the shaver I find myself accidently pressing the power button and shutting it off while i'm shaving, it would have been nice to have it on the top side instead of the bottom, I'll just have to be more aware of the button while using it to avoid this issue, again not that big of a deal.

Very nice efficient trimmer for all around grooming. Has double the number of blades design to ensure smooth efficient cutting without clogs and pulling your hair. Also the blades are made of metal not cheap plastic like some other that I’ve had before. The unit includes 18 pieces including standard, narrow and wide trimmer heads, nose hair trimmer and 13 variable length guards that are constructed of durable reinforced plastic to allow easy cleaning under the sink by simply rinsing them off. The shaft of the handpiece has rubber coating for better grip and no slips, again unlike the plastic casing of most others I’ve had previously. Battery life is great, manufacturer states 3 hours of runtime on its lipo battery. I use it everyday for a week and then charge overnight once a week and it never feels like it’s running low or going to die. A nice feature as well with the battery is that even if the battery does die you can use this while plugged in so you don’t have to wait for it to charge a certain amount of time if you don’t realize it’s dead until you’re needing to use it. Comes with a handy storage pouch that everything fits in – I just through it all in my sink drawer but that pouch is nice if you take it traveling I guess. Overall very nice unit. Works well with no issues that I’ve encountered. This trimmer is far nicer and most I’ve had in the past. The test of time and durability will come but so far so good.

I got this a little while back and wanted to use it several times before reviewing it. After multiple uses for various things I feel confident I've evaluated it fully. The packaging comes in a single box with all the attachments and a USB power cord (no wall adapter). It also comes with a bag to put everything in for storage, which seems like a little thing but actually is very handy. It has attachments for nose/ear hair, beard trimming, sideburns, head trimming, shaving, and body grooming. About everything you'd expect from a full featured trimmer. The attachments go on and off very easily and I had no issues with them sliding off or unlocking without me actively doing so. I have a full beard and always struggle with trimmers not evenly trimming it to a length I like. Either you have to set it so low it is useless or it does such a sporadic job that it's easier to just use a comb and do it yourself. This trimmer actually did a better job than any I've had before. It specifies the preferred direction for each section of your face and if you follow the instructions, does an impressive job of keeping length but evening it out. I use it without a guard for my head and for trimming around the lip area and around the ears. It gets close enough for my liking without scratching or irritating my head. I tried the nose/ear adapter and it works, but the design of all of these means you have to hit it just right to do any good. With some work, it does a decent job. My only real complaint with it is that I can't use only it for shaving. I have to use a different razor to actually shave the neck and cheek area. It has an adapter they recommend for just that purpose, but I don't think it does a good enough job so it's still a 2 tool task to shave. The battery life is great and the noise level is impressive! I turned it on and thought I had the guard on wrong or something because of how quiet it was. But somehow, even being that quiet, it spins fast enough not to pull the hair or get bogged down on heavy spots. A solid trimmer and styler, but not a single solution to shaving. I'm definitely happy with it though and recommend it for anyone who's had trouble maintaining a longer beard (though it obviously works on shorter beards).

Cuts hair but not good at lining mustache, beard or hair

I have a "Van D" (sorry, Best Buy won't let me use the actual word) beard and I like to keep it closely trimmed and neat around the edges. This grooming tool is perfect. It comes with a wide assortment of blades and guards that are super easy to switch out. In fact, it probably includes more guards than anyone would ever need. In addition to including standard, detail and extra wide cutters, it includes a nose hair trimmer. It recharges quickly and the battery lasts a long time. It's comfortable to hold, with good, balanced weight. And it looks good - very masculine and high-tech. It's also fairly quiet, and has minimal vibration. The cutting blades work will, with no snags or pulls. I really have no major complaints about this grooming tool, except that it doesn't come with a good travel case. It does include a small drawstring bag, but that only holds the guards and extra cutters. Having a small zippered storage and travel case would have been great. Also, it does not include a "lawnmower" style trimmer, so guys looking to shave larger body surfaces might want to choose another model that does have that. Overall, I am very happy with this grooming tool and highly recommend it.

This electric trimmer may be one of the most versatile trimmers I have ever used. First of all, you really cannot beat the versatility of this trimmer being battery operated. Not heing tethered to a cord is nice when it comes to portability. This trimmer also comes with a ridiculous amount of attachments! I feel like there is an included attachment for just about any trimming situation! It also comes with a handy little bag used to carry all the attachments. I primarily use this trimmer to touch up my beard. After I found the appropriate attachment and ensured the trimmer was fully charged I set to the task of trimming my face. The trimmer is very strong and did not seem to struggle with any of the thick facial hair it came mu against. It feels very sturdy and well built. According to the manufacturer the trimmer is fully washable and can be used wet or dry. The total number of included attachments is 18! The runtime for the trimmer is advertised as almost three hours. I have used the trimmer several times and I still haven't had to recharge it. This is a great portable trimmer that you wont regret buying!
