I had to replace my old Philips Norelco model 3100, which is now discontinued. This dual-sided cutter doesn't get as close as the 3100 model, and I have to rotate the trimer several more times to get all the stray hairs.

I thought the batteries just needed to be replaced, but sadly I was wrong. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. It was great while it worked, but not working after less than 4 months is absolutely ridiculous! Very frustrating and definitely not worth any amount of money. I would highly recommend finding a different brand, very disappointed that this broke.

Unfortunately because that model was discontinued so I bought model NT5600. This model is horrible and really not good. I had no choice than return it
