This is simple to use and effective in its results. BETTER than competitive and older Philips Norelco models I have had in three ways. First, the old model was a single-sided nose trimmer that lacked precision and was not great at its primary objective. THIS model’s dual side head is considerably more effective, and a good trimmer with two guards for eyebrows. Each guard is calibrated for longer or shorter eyebrows. Second, the rotary trimmer head is often preferable for use in the nose. Third, this model adds value with its detail trimmer for sideburns, which is also useful for trimming hair around and over the ears. Lot of useful features for not a lot of money. At its low price point, that it is powered by a single expensive disposable AA Lithium instead of rechargeable internal battery is forgivable. I do not know just how long the included battery will last, but if experience is a good teacher, even with bi-weekly trims over the ears, and the usual, more occasional nose and eyebrow trims, I would guess that each battery would last for six months or more. With 20-year shelf life, a 4-pack of the best Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries is about $8 at Best Buy. Do the math. Not bad at all. Covered by Philips Norelco two-year warranty.

I buy a new nose hair trimmer when they either break, or simply stop performing. This time, I gave the Philips Norelco a try. The cost is 1/4th the cost of the last nose trimmer I bought, which broke after a year. I was concerned about the durability because it is bargain priced. Turns out, there was no need for concern. I have been blown away so far. Most important: It trims nose hair much more successfully than any previous unit I owned. Simply rotate it within each nostril. The sound of it destroying hairs is amazing. When the sound dies down, it is finished. look at your nose. You won't believe how great this trimmer works! The attachments are for nose trimming, eyebrow trimming, mustache grooming & ear hair removal. They even included a carry pouch, a clean-up brush & instructions with many photos showing how to use each attachment. The included AA battery is a Top-Of-The-Line Lithium Battery. It provides substantially more power & longer life than an AA Alkaline battery. Philips Norelco spared no expense on this battery. Attractively designed in black & silver, this trimmer compliments virtually every electric razor & looks at home in the Master Bath, or in your travel case. Philips Trimmer This little trimmer is great and very versatile. I like that it has all kinds of attachments. My favorites are the rotary trimmer (trims the hair in your nose and ears) and the eyebrow combs (trims eyebrows nicely so there is no stray wiry hairs). The detailer is a nice touch also, so you can get rid of those hairs on the back of your neck or your sideburns. I like that it is cordless. I can take it from the bathroom to the bedroom, without having to unplug and plug back in to use. This comes with one AA battery, so you don’t even need to worry about anything and can use it right out of the box. It is ready to go. Comes with a brush to clean up the cut hairs that left behind and it is washable, so I can just run it under the sink tap and wash away any dirt and oil. I would recommend this trimmer to anyone that is looking for a product like this.

This trimmer is a great too to have on the road. I had a different model if nose trimmer and it only came with the nose hair attachment. Not knowing what i didnt know, my old model was lacking. This newer model I have has other attachments such as an eyebrow trimmer that can come in handy if I ever should need it. It also comes with a small fabric travel bag which keeps all the small pieces together and reduces the chance of losing them. One other small thing I like about this trimmer is that it only runs on one AA battery that is included in the box and is snuggly hidden behind a water resistant plug... no need to awkwardly force fit 3 small AAA batteries into its body. All in all a great little compact trimmer to throw in your travel bag!

Being a middle age adult male, nose hair is a common thing I have to deal with. It feels like I buy 6 nose hair trimmers a year because they either fall apart or get rusty. This one feels like it might be a better quality trimmer on multiple levels. It comes with removable heads which are cleanable, and the heads appear to be more durable than some of the other heads on the cheaper trimmers I've purchased. Also, to keep everything together it's got a nice pouch for storage. How well does it work? Like I put in the headline, I can breathe through my nose again and that feeling Is AMAZING, it will probably lead to fewer headaches too. I used three of the functions of the device: nose hair trimming, ear trimming and eyebrow trimming. I had no need for the beard detailer without a beard. The nose trimmer I simply inserted in the nose and moved it around the edges and rotated a bit until I didn't hear any more hairs being ripped out. The ear trimmer seemed to do a good job, I could hear it zapping hairs as I moved it around my ear, I used the rotary cutter for that. And the eyebrow trimmer didn't cut a lot but it thinned it a little which was good. This Philips Norelco Nose Trimmer seems like an important piece of self-care equipment to have for a male.

This trimmer comes with so many attachments and in such a compact package, I was surprised. Two eyebrow trimmer sizes, one for sideburns / over-ear touch-up, a circular one for nose hair, the base trimmer for ear hair and all with a battery and nice little bag. Caveat to the bag: No draw-string stopper so it just opens right back up again. All of the pieces twist off rather easily and there is no excessive build-up of grease inside, like those I’ve seen in other trimmer sets. With a “no pull guarantee” on the box, I was very anxious as to how they’ll accomplish it, but I was impressed. The cutter is smooth and I agree, it doesn’t pull! Noise hair gets snipped right out and you can hear the ear/inner-ear hair getting chopped. The noise level isn’t over the top. I can put it on/in my ears and not hear ringing or muffled audio afterwards. My eyes still water and my nose gets itchy during the nose hair time but I don’t think that’s avoidable. I did find the eyebrow trimmer had some trouble; it took way too many passes and I saw it just shoving the eyebrow hairs around until I eventually had the right angle. Other brands that I’ve used seem to do much better (and now I must keep that one around), albeit those brands are also much louder. Lastly, trimming sideburns and hair over the ear worked well, no complaints here. If I could, I’dI give this 4.5 stars, given the low price, but since one of the options doesn’t work all that well for me - I have to roll with 4.

Easy to use! Great value inexpensive and gets the job done. Many attachments

This is a good trimmer, don't get me wrong, but I would get the Norelco Trimmer 5000 or 7000 series instead. The Norelco trimmers are the best I have ever found for trimming all my facial hair. The regular trimmers have the guards and specialty tools for trimming nose/ear hair which I have in abundance, but they handle all other trimming too. This kit is just redundant to a regular trimmer and the specialty tools don't bring enough value to make two sets worth it. Do yourself a favor though and make sure to get a set with all the attachments and AT LEAST a bag for storing them all in. I hang the bag near our bathroom vanity and everything I need for trimming eyebrows, nose/ear hair and shaping up my sideburns and goatee are all right there at hand. So if you start with this kit, don't stop there; trade it in for the full trimmer kit at some point. You won't be disappointed IMHO.

Love the nose trimmer. It works very well. I love all the other attachments that can be used for eyebrows and sideburns.

My old trimmer died and I got this one to replace it. I like all the different attachments that are provided. Not only does it work fine for your nose with the round attachment, but the attachment that comes preinstalled is nice for your ears. It is quite cheap and it has several options. Very satisfied with it.

The trimmer is surprisingly powerful and versatile. A single AA seems to work well. It’s got the various accessories to tame eyebrows and so on. At first I wasn’t sure I wanted a separate trimmer after I upgraded my razor but its been a surprising bonus - especially having a travel pouch.

These little clippers can’t be beat for the price. I mainly use them for nose hair trimmers and they have not pulled once. They cut quickly and are super easy to clean as well. Highly recommend these!

OK, the only reason why I'm not giving this five stars is because you're not getting what you see . It says it's the 5600 and it looks like it comes with a guard. for the beard trimmer. I ordered it three times, and it only came with. everything except for the guard and the picture on the top. Far right. I had this same one for years. It worked awesome. I bought three of these, two for my boys, one for me. I would recommend these. It works awesome.

This such a great product I have purchased a second one to have on hand at the vacation home. It trims hair very easily and never pulls. The shape of the attachments allow for a nice close trim. I’ll never be without this trimmer.
