SUMMARY ----------- I have had a variety of nose trimmers mostly from Panasonic, these are rotary ones which work really well. But they actually require the rotary connector to be removed for cleaning purpose. This nose trimmer, come with a Linear nose trimmer in addition to the rotary attachment which is double sided and the hair does not get stuck inside the rotary attachment like the Panasonic. This trimmer does not pull hair and does a very good job in nose trimmer. It also comes with attachment for ear hair and trimming eyebrows. WHAT IS IN THE BOX ——————————— Philips Norelco Nosetrimmer 5000 Travel pouch 2 x eyebrow comb Lithium battery Protective cap REVIEW ————— This is a nose/ear/eyebrow trimmer which works very well, its fast and trims hair without pulling it and causing your tears to come down. It uses 1 AA battery which i think will last 3 to 6 months depending on usage. The best part is that is comes with a dual sided nose trimmer attachment in addition to the rotary attachments. The dual sided is better used inside your nostril because since it not a rotary type of attachment, it does not pull your hair. The eyebrow attachments is a good thing and i have never seen any nose trimmer that actually comes with a eyebrow trimmer attachment. This trimmer is washable and hence you can keep it clean. This trimmer does not have a vacuum so that it can suck the hair in, but i dont miss the vacuum much. Overall for the price, its a worthy investment.

I usually will buy mid to high level products from brands that i am familiar with already. Phillips Norelco is a brand i am familiar with and happy with there grooming and shaving products. But I wouldn't recommend this for anyone, plain and simple.

Cheaply made and not worth the money. I would never buy this again.

This thing don't cut worth a crap no cutting power what so ever. It thought my mustache was cement wouldn't cut it.

Well I was a bit surprised to find that the new nose trimmer doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery and charger. It included a lithium top-grade AA battery which is what you will want to use so it lasts more than a few weeks. Hopefully it will last more than a few weeks. Now for the trimmer itself. It is smaller and lighter than the previous rechargeable models. Much better nose trimmer design, not the rotating blades type. I can't really see but it looks like a teeny tiny hedge trimmer. There are other attachments for trimming ears, beards and sideburns and eyebrows, they all work but are an afterthought. It's nice and also nice if the battery lasts a while, but that remains to be seen.

Did not trim nose hairs. Not sure if it’s not strong enough or...

I need a trimmer like this. As I got older and the hair receded from my head, it seemed to sprout from my nose and ears instead. Because of that, I’ve used these trimmers for many years. The ones I’ve found and purchased before are very cheaply made, and when you need them the most, they fall apart. This one is different. From the moment I opened the case to install the included AA battery (and it’s a lithium one, which usually costs more than others) I could feel the quality. On the others I’ve used, the battery cap practically falls apart in your hands. You turn this cap to the “unlock’ position and you can feel the quality as the cap and battery holder are released. The attachments go on the device in a solid matter also. Included are a few different eyebrow trimmer attachments. I’ve never seen those on trimmers before and they’re useful. I also used them to clean closer around the ear lobes than the regular included ear trimmer attachment. I also like the included drawstring pouch. It makes it easy to keep all the small attachments together, not losing any of them. The only negative I could find is in the picture on the Best Buy website for this device. It shows a gray trimmer attachment that is not included in this device, or in the list of attachments in the included instructions. Bottom line, for the price this a really good unit and one I think you’ll be happy with.

Philips Norelco - Nose Trimmer - Black/Silver The Philips Norelco nose trimmer is a compact battery operated trimmer that works very well. It is easy to use and I found it to be very effective in helping with my grooming needs. I especially liked the attachments for trimming the eyebrows. There are two attachment size options and they do a very good job of safely trimming near the eyes. It is very quick and takes no time at all to use. The same can be said for both the fine trimmer and the nose trimmer. It is easy to swap attachments back and forth and they all work very well. I was also glad to have the included travel pouch although I think it is probably the biggest disappointment in all of the included accessories. Still it is helpful to have so I was glad it was included. I didn’t like that included instructions since they are all on a one page sheet of paper and it's kind of klugy to unfold and read. I would have preferred to have them in a small booklet but they do tell you everything you need to know and once you start using the kit you won’t need them later anyway. I think it is safe to expect many years of service from this trimmer set and I have been very satisfied with all of the Philips products I have used.

I've had a few cheap trimmers over the years that work okay for a while but then break. This trimmer already seems to be much better quality than the ones in the past. It also has a two year warranty which seems very impressive for the price. It works perfectly so far, and the different attachments are easy to swap out. It came with a premium lithium AA battery which is nice. A rechargeable battery would have been nicer, but it's certainly understandable for the price. It also comes with the usual bag for all the attachments, but that's not particularly handy. I've actually just left everything in the plastic tray that it shipped in and that's working pretty well. Another nice feature for the price is you can wash the attachments off with water. Again, the other trimmers I had in the price range wouldn't tolerate getting wet. We'll see how long it lasts, but for now I couldn't be happier with this trimmer.

This is easy to review, this is a very good personal trimmer/groomer. I've used several different brands and all of them have had too many shortcomings to justify purchasing them again. This Philips groomer does not have any that I have found. There are several attachments to choose from and all work perfectly. The round nose trimming attachment is sharp and does not bog down or worse, rip the hair out of your nose. The eyebrow trimmer with 2 different lengths works great, and the wide trim attachment is good for cleaning up and trimming the back of your neck. I comes with a decent case for easy carrying when traveling. I'd certainly recommend this to everyone who needs a personal groomer.

The Philips Norelco - Nose Trimmer - Black/Silver is easy to operate and has great versatility enabling it to perform many of the necessary facial grooming needs. Nose hairs are removed smoothly without any pulling. I also was able to trim my beard and sideburns just as good as my barber does. Removing neck hairs was quick and smoothly done. Eyebrows are listed as something that can also be done. A cleaning brush is included for effectively cleaning all the moving pieces. It can keep me groomed enough to avoid my barber for grooming other than a haircut.

Finally it is here. The only trimmer you will need. This trimmer. Ones with all the needed attachments. You get the eyebrow adapters and side burn trimmer. It has a carry case for travel as well. I really appreciate that the design of this trimmer does not pull any hair when cutting. It seems all the other trimmers I have tried always pull the hair when trimming. The design of this has combed that issue. No pulling. Trimming is pain free like it should be.

With covid, personal grooming may have taken a hit. However, for when the world will eventually return to normal, this tool is great. The circular attachment makes trimming the ol nose hairs simple and quick. Didn’t notice any pulling. Can use the other attachments to fine tune your grooming needs or just use the angled blade. Works as advertised, can’t ask for more.

This Norelco Nose trimmer works great. No snagging or pulling hair. The attachments work well and the storage bag is a nice touch also. Build quality is good and the ability to rinse the trimmer off is a big bonus! If you need a good trimmer to stay well-groomed then look no further!

I've reached the age where more hair grows out of my ears and nostrils... so a nose and ear hair trimmer is a necessity. The Philips Norelco works exactly as you would expect and gets rid of those annoying hairs. Things to love, it actually has multiple attachments so you can use if for face grooming. I used the detailer attachment to trim sideburns but the rotary trimmer is what works magic on rogue hairs. The Norelco comes with a pouch that holds all the attachments including a few extra trimming heads and a brush for cleaning. Although you can run the heads itself under water to clean. It's battery-operated and comes with the 1xAA battery it needs. This is better than rechargeable models because you can throw it in your overnight bag without a thought.

If you're looking for an easy way to do personal grooming, you can't do better than the Philips Nose Trimmer 5600. Although earlier trimmers used one simple head for nose or ear cleaning, this newer model does even more. So this is probably my 5th trimmer in 10 years...but hopefully my last! Why? Because it runs on a AA battery! You can use a rechargeable battery if you want, but you're not tied to a built-in battery that will eventually die or a charger that will fail. It's not just a nose trimmer! It includes a rotary head for nose or ears, a standard straight trimmer for beards and mustaches, and a linear trimmer (side cut) with 2 separate length guides to trim eyebrows and mustaches. It comes with a lithium battery so you can use it right out of the box and a soft carry bag.

The Philips Norelco nose trimmer is a breeze to use and has replaced three other single purpose trimmers cluttering up my vanity drawer. It is surprisingly quiet, no matter which of the three attachments you use. The heads twist on and off easily and are washable, making maintenance quite simple. It comes with a short bristled brush to help with hairs that don't wash out. The motor seems powerful enough to easily do the job it's designed to do.I only have two small issues with the trimmer. First, neither of the included eyebrow "combs" allow for a close enough cut for my liking. If you use it without the comb installed, I fear there won't be any eyebrow left. Second, although this is touted as a rechargeable trimmer, and it comes with a rechargeable battery, there is no way to actually charge the battery unless you happen to already have a AA battery charger. So the marketing isn't untrue, just not completely forthcoming on the limitations. Both of these are relatively minor issues, but enough for me to knock a star off the rating.
